The next morning, after I showered, and Randhir was sleeping in as usual, I smiled. I walked up to him and kissed his cheek softly, unable to stop myself. He looked so cute and innocent while asleep.
I didn't know why, but I really wanted to jump on him and have a round two right then, but I knew I had to rush downstairs to make tea.
Randhir stirred in his sleep, but I quickly backed away from the bed and ran downstairs, feeling too shy to have him catch me.
After I made the tea, and the family was sitting on the dining table in the kitchen, I couldn't stop myself from glancing up at Randhir over and over again and blushing. I didn't know why I kept on looking at him.
"The tea is good," Randhir said out loud, and then he winked at me, causing me to blush again.
I made it in the weird way that Randhir told me to.
"Yes, Sanyukta has started to make really good tea," my mother-in-law said. "By the way Sanyukta, how is the job searching going?"
"Good," I lied. "I'm still applying to places... I'm hoping to get a position soon."
"Great," my mother-in-law said.
After breakfast, as Randhir was getting ready for work as usual, I couldn't help myself. I was sitting on the bed, watching him put his watch on, when I stood up, walked up to him and hugged him from behind.
His hands touched mine on his stomach, and he pulled me in front of me, before holding me to him.
"Someone's being affectionate today," he said lightly.
"Shut up," I replied, blushing. "I just thought to be nice... because I pity you."
"That sounds accurate," he said sarcastically and then kissed the top of my head.
I broke the hug and looked up at him in shock.
"How could you just kiss me like that?" I asked him, sounding offended.
"This is how," he responded, and then he kissed my cheek, making my mouth drop open even further.
"What are you doing?" I snapped. "I didn't allow you!"
"Oh, and I allowed you to kiss me this morning right?" he asked me sarcastically, with a raised eyebrow.
I felt my cheeks turn red and then started to head to the washroom.
"I have to use the washroom, go to work!" I said, hiding my embarrassment, as I shut the washroom door loudly. "I don't want to talk to people who deceive others by pretending they're sleeping."
Randhir chuckled as he headed towards the door.
"I'll see you tonight," he said in a deep voice, and then he shut the door behind him.
My back was against the door in the washroom, and I immediately collapsed on the ground, my face red. Why was I blushing so much, and smiling shyly? I was out of my mind.

That day, I spent outside again, wanting to be anywhere but at home. My mother-in-law was not someone I enjoyed spending time with. She complained too much.
I headed to the same park as yesterday at around four, hoping to catch Randhir there. I sat by the same spot and waited. I waited and waited, but Randhir didn't show up.
Two hours passed and I began to get frustrated. Why didn't he come? I frowned. I was waiting here for him. I knew he didn't know I was here, but he should have been here.
I irritably got on the bus, and then got off at home. I walked into my bedroom, where Randhir was lying down on the bed, reading some book. I grabbed the book from him and glared at him, my hand on my hips.
"Hey!" he said, sounding surprised. "Give me my book!"
"No!" I argued. "I'm not giving it."
Then I snapped the book shut and placed it on the table beside him.
"Now you made me lose my page, great," he mumbled, sounding annoyed.
"Hello!" I said angrily. "You wasted my time."
"What?" he asked, sounding confused. "What do you mean?"
"Don't act so innocent Mr. Shekhawat!" I retorted. "I know you know. Where were you after work?"
"I came home," he answered, looking at me suspiciously. "What's wrong with you?"
"I was waiting for you at the park!" I exclaimed, and then I sat down on the bed and folded my arms while I continued to glare at him.
He looked at me with surprise.
"How am I supposed to know that?" he asked me.
"You should know that!" I snapped.
"Why're you so mad huh?" he asked me, leaning closer. "You missed me?"
"What? No!" I said quickly, feeling my heart beat faster.
Of course I didn't miss him.
"Oh really?" he asked with a smirk. "Then why are you so mad that you didn't see me?"
"I... I... I thought you were missing me! So I came to see you there!" I said, trying to cover it up. "But if you can't even respect my concern for you then..."
"Concern?" he asked sounding surprised. "This morning it was pity, now it's concern?"
"Well yeah, pity... but concern because I don't want people to doubt our relationship," I said trying to make an excuse, knowing this probably made no sense at all.
"You're bad at bullshitting," he said, rolling his eyes. "If you can't even convince yourself of your bullshit, then how can you convince others?"
"You're so frustrating! I don't like you!" I said, annoyed. "You could have just come to the park and we wouldn't be having this argument."
"Can I read my book now?" he said.
My mouth dropped open. I was annoyed here, and he wanted to read his book?
"Fine!" I said angrily and picked up his book before throwing it at him. "Spend time with your book. I'm going downstairs!"
I stormed towards the door angrily.
"Oh and sleep with your book tonight as well!" I snapped, and then walked out of the room, shutting the door behind me loudly.
I thought I heard him laugh, as if he enjoyed this. He was so annoying and weird and I just... I just hated him!

At night, I ignored him and he made no effort to talk to me either, which pissed me off. But it was okay, I wasn't in the mood to be all sati savitri and beg for his attention.
I went to sleep, and he slept beside me. I wanted to lean into him, but I had to resist the urge. I closed my eyes and fell asleep almost immediately.
The next day, I continued to ignore him until he was getting ready for work. At that point I coughed loudly. He ignored me. I coughed again.
"Want me to get you water?" he asked.
I glared at him.
"I can get myself water!" I snapped. "I don't need your favours."
"Oh really?" he asked, sounding amused. "Alright then."
"Come to the park today," I finally said.
"I'll see," Randhir responded.
"What do you mean you'll see?" I asked, sounding short-tempered.
"If I have time..."
"You don't have time for your wife?" I asked, frustrated. "I hate you!"
"Will you give me a kiss if I come?" he asked with a smirk.
"My foot you'll get a kiss!" I responded quickly, feeling a slight blush warm my face. "If you care about me even a tiny bit then you'll come!"
"Hmmm... I'll see," he said.
I walked up to him and grabbed the collar of his shirt, pulling him so close that I could feel his breath against my lips.
"I dare you," I said, glaring at him.
"Fine, I'll come," Randhir told me and I smirked victoriously.
Then I stood up on my tiptoes and kissed him on the cheek, my heart beating furiously.
"This is not happening again!" I said to him and was about to run away to hide in the washroom, but he grabbed my wrist and hugged me from behind.
He placed his lips over my ear and I felt my palms get sweaty as he whispered, "See you at the park."
Then he sucked on my ear, and I gasped - it was more of a half moan, half gasp, because I was feeling things against my body... feeling signs of his desire... plus his tongue on my ear made me feel so good.
"Get off," I said, trying to sound fierce, but instead it came out more weak than I had hoped.
"Okay," he whispered, and I nearly lost my balance. "Goodbye."
He let go of me and then smirked as he walked out of the room.
Oh what I wouldn't do to run after him and kiss him senseless right then and there... not just that, but to push him down on the ground and make love to him right now. I closed my eyes and shuddered. No way... I didn't want that. I couldn't want that. I had to show him attitude... I couldn't show him how weak he made me feel!
