Kesar confronts Harman at home in front of everyone. Harman agrees on meeting Sethi but before giving his explanation, he gives Rudra Kesar's reports from the hospital. Upon reading it, Rudra gets very excited. He tells everyone that Kesar is pregnant. Kesar is happy upon hearing this. Rudra hugs her. Harman then tells everyone that he went to negotiate with Sethi about the house, as he thought that they might want to spend this happiness at their house. Dadaji apologizes on behalf of Kesar but Harman says that he may have done the same had he been in Kesar's place.
Amma is crying as she remembers Abhi. Kadambari consoles her. She then shows her the life insurance policy papers, in which Abhi made her the nominee, and asks her to sign them. Anand speaks against Kadambari; which makes Amma shout at him. She then tells Kadambari to invite the Mallyas to the 'chautha'. Anand tells her that if they do, it would make their case weak. Amma tells him that she had asked him to take the case back. She then signs the papers.
Kesar remembers how Rudra had accused her of carrying Abhi's child when she got pregnant the first time. Rudra joins her and asks her what the matter is. She tells him that she was just remembering the past. He tells her that what they are going through is all because of Abhi. She tells him that at that time Abhi was innocent but this time, he isn't and she hates him for that. Rudra feels bad and remains silent. Kesar, then, tells him that he will have to take extra care of her from now on. Rudra tells her that he would do everything she asks him to. He is about to hug her when she gets a call from Kadambari, who tells her that Amma wants all of them to come home for Abhi's 'chautha'. Kesar informs Rudra but tells him that they wouldn't go, as she can't forget what Abhi did.
Kesar and Rudra inform everyone of Kadambari's invitation. Pam says that none of them should go, as this may be a plan of Kadambari and Anand. Dadaji tells them that if they do not want to go, they may not. Harman tells them that he also thinks that they shouldn't go, as they shouldn't give so much importance to a person who used to serve them. He tells them that Abhi used to hide Rudra's mistakes; he saved Kesar when she tried to commit suicide; he agreed to send Kesar back to Rudra when they got married; and even accepted Natasha as Anand's wife despite the accusations she placed on him. Rudra, Kesar, Dadaji, and Dadi feel bad. Harman tells them that Abhi didn't do anything great; he just did what a servant should've done, but if he were in their place, he would share in the pain of Abhi's mom. Dadaji tells him that he feels so ashamed to have forgotten that. He tells everyone that they would go to Amma's house.
Anand tells Amma to come with him to the temple to feed the Brahmans but Amma tells him that they had already decided what to do. Anand then gets a call from Reema and leaves.
At the temple, Harman gives some clothing to the Brahmans. After he leaves, Anand comes there and tells the 'pandit' to start the prayer but the 'pandit' informs him that someone had already performed the prayer and fed the Brahmans under Abhi's name. Anand wonders who that person was.
Anand meets Reema and Shalini, who tell him that Kadambari is a big fraud and has a lot of cases pending under her name. They tell him that the only reason she is living with them is to take over the business so that she may pay her debts. Anand is shocked.
