Jiah Khan murder case which lost its attention is again in the limelight, the Nishabd actress was found hanging in her apartment on June 3, 2013 and was said to be dead under mysterious conditions. However the CBI has not forgotten the case yet.
On Wednesday, the team of CBI officials raided the residence of actor Aditya Pancholi and sonSooraj Pancholi for the ongoing case.
Both father and son have landed in a grave trouble because of the blame game. Apparently, the 25 year old actress was in a relationship with Sooraj Pancholi son of actor Aditya Pancholi and the strained relationship forced her to take this drastic step.
The case was handed over to the CBI by the Bombay High Court last year. The CBI officials however refused to share any other information on matter saying that the investigation results are yet to be confirmed.
After the death of the actress, her mother Rabia claimed that her daughter did not commit suicide as she was emotionally strong. Rabia also claimed that her daughter's death is homicidal and not a suicide. The Bombay High Court directed the CBI to investigate the matter further on motherRabia's plea.
CBI spokesperson Kanchan Prasad was heard saying that the court has directed the CBI to investigate the matter and conclude whether the case is a suicide or a homicide and only after the complete investigation further steps will be taken.
Sooraj Pancholi was soon to enter Bollywood but this case has already thrown the newbie on the wrong side of the law. May the truth triumphs!
