I completely get you.

It's all unfortunate series of events. It's unfortunate for both the victim and the culprit. It's a sad thing when someone goes to jail as well. I don't get the celebratory undertone of many comments when he was sentenced. Yes justice was served, but the rejoicing and all reeked of sadism. So much sadism.. Some people are so hyped about justice.. It really looked stupid to me. So much hype? Why? Not only in this case, in any case, being sentenced is not something to be happy about. Humanity is lacking in people. And yes, I don't see anything wrong with people visiting Salman. I'd go see my friend too. But the ones who blame victim, called the judgement unfair/wrong went too far. That was sycophancy.

Yes, I'd want my parents to visit me. Yes my father may scold me for being unwise, I'd still wanna see their faces and hug them tight 24/7 till I'd be put behind bars :p I'd do the same if it was my loved one :( scold and hug hug hug. Support from beloved is needed. Everyone's a human after all. But I'm not talking about heinous crimes where criminal does things in an intentional/scheming way.
