When Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he is feeling pressure since Bombay Velvet is all set to release on May 15, he replied: "Pressure is always good. With pressure, we work harder. Even in the morning, we need pressure to go to the bathroom. We should always feel pressure in our lives."
He added: "As an actor, you want to deliver. If I have been given a certain amount of love and respect for the kind of films that I have done, I have to deliver. If Besharam did not do well, I take ownership of that. I think we all went wrong with that film."

Even so, Ranbir Kapoor feels the fate of a film is not in his hands. "As long as you are staying true to your work, you are working with good people, you work hard, that is all you can do as an actor. The fate of a film is not in my hands," he said.
Bombay Velvet' also stars Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar, and has been directed by Anurag Kashyap.
