Saif-Shahid starrer not based on King Lear : Vishal Bharadwaj

There is a strong buzz surrounding Shahid and Saif coming together for Vishal Bharadwaj's next. Reports suggested that after completing the trilogy of Shakespearen plays, Vishal wanted to make a film on King Lear.
However, at the Film London and Cinestaan Film Company collaboration event to celebrate 400 years of Shakespeare, Vishal Bharadwaj revealed, "No, this film will not be based on King Lear."
Though he hasn't officially announced that Saif and Shahid are part of the film, he did not even deny it when we asked. He just said, "Everything will be final within one month. I would like to make an announcement during that time." Reports also indicate that Vishal is thinking about signing Kareena for the film. If this is true and if happens, then we will see Kareena, Shahid and Saif for the first time together. Are you excited about this one?

We know that Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor are all set to star in their Vishal Bhardwaj movie. We also hinted that Kareena Kapoor Khan may be zeroed in as the female lead. Now, that would indeed be a stellar cast. However, there have been no confirmations about Bebo joining this team.
News is that the 'Bebo' rumours started after the two leading men, Saifu and Shahid expressed their wish of working opposite Kareena in this movie. DNA reported a source as saying, "Saif was very keen that Bebo be signed for the role. In fact, Shahid too was of the opinion that Kareena would be the apt choice for the role. The makers however, weren't too convinced with the idea and wanted a different actress for the part. Until now, no one has been finalised but it does not look like Kareena will be a part of the film."
Well, there you go. While this may not really happen Kareena will be seen with ex-boyfriend Shahid in the movie 'Udta Punjab'. As for Saif, the real-life couple have stressed that their chemistry does not show onscreen. Therefore do not expect that to happen soon!
