So yes I guess there was a mistake in the way I wrote my response because I also do believe that whilst Manik may believe that all hope of Dhruv's return has vanished...he can't be gone forever. They are after all Fab 5, and they all have their independent growth journey that they all need to tread on. Sorry...that was my fault lol but I think on one of my replies to someone last week I had said that as much as Dhruv seems to have become totally unrecognisable right now...this was much needed! Every character has had their chance to grow into a more balanced and matured individual and now it's time for Dhruv's growth. This is exactly what he had wanted...and equal chance. And now that his downfall has started, he will eventually have his ultimate fall and will restabilise himself on his feet by himself. That will be his realisation and redemption track. So sorry for my lack of clarity there but absolutely agree to you there that this track doesn't mean Fab 5 have split... Dhruv just needed that freedom, that fresh air to re-figure himself out and he will eventually return with a more clear mind where his maturity will add a positive element to Fab 5's friendship too.
I believe it too that somewhere inside Nandini's rejection for Dhruv and the fact that she accepted Manik has played an important part in this whole erruption too. I'm not too sure but I feel that his jealousy has consumed his ability to think because somewhere deep down he still had feelings for Nandini and when he saw that she chose Manik; his anger fumed even more and insecurities escalated to a brand new level. I'm hoping for an exceptional Dhruv and Aliya confrontation today. They had done quite a decent job a few days back and hoping it's executed well again.
Now umm to some of the problems I had:
1. I actually couldn't believe for a second that Cabir said "tu pagal hogaya hai kya"...like I had thought that perhaps after that staircase scene last week, Cabir would've understood that Dhruv has treaded away quite far and it will take some time for him to return to his senses. Also like ...just the whole context of the blames was quite disgraceful because he indirectly called Nandini a player so like as a Manan shipper, wouldn't Cabir have had a problem with Dhruv so harshly disgracing Nandini? I don't know...I just didn't connect to that scene.
2. Yess! Omg like Amms was there for most the confrontation...anyone could have understood that there was so much more to this fight then just a spoilt boy punching a friend. Like couldn't she hear him continuously standing up and rebutting Dhruv to stop with the accusations. He was clearly supporting her grand-daughter so I failed to understand how could the CV's ended up overlooking such a massive loophole.
3. And finally... that keeping secrets bit, I went a little eeek there too. I can kind of still understand Manik's reasons of hiding the truth of the phone call because he himself isn't quite aware of the full truth about pandti yet so I can still give it to him for not telling her the truth about the phone call and the girl but like Nandini had made up her mind to tell him the truth about Panditji's unacceptable touch anyway so she could have openly talked about the necklace too. The only reason I guess for this is like you said that it will all be a super-duper hyped up revelation so they went to continue building up those revelations and secrets.
Their touch... truly holds the power of healing the most painful of all wounds and yet again they portrayed so beautifully. They've learnt to share so unconditionally now and I'm glad that sharing isn't only limited to happiness now but the pain is part of the deal too. WIth these painful struggles, their need of each other seems to be escalating minute by minute too and you can tell that how desperately they just want everything to calm down and fall into place now. It's coming...their nearly there...but some last minute revelations, some last minute promises need to be made and some last minute battles need to be won.
I'm not too worried about Amms' perception about Manik at this stage becuase he will be fighting another fight in the days to come. The fight to save his grand-daughter from the evil claws of the devil and she will be there once again to witness that whole scene. So it's needless to say that she will eventually realise that her Nandini will always be safe under the love-shelter of Manik Malhotra.

Nahi nahi... I had actually posted the response a couple of hours after the episode yesterday. Maybe it got pushed back in the pages of the forum so you didn't find it... But thankyou for commenting and praising it... It means so much <3
