Ranveer - Anushka Love Story In DDD Revealed

Suddenly, Zoya Akhtar's film Dil Dhadakne Do seems to have become the talk of the town. Now, here's some lowdown on the love story between Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh in the film.

The looks of the Mehra family has been revealed through posters. While Anil Kapoor plays the stylish Kamal Mehra, Shefali Shah plays Neelam Mehra, Priyanka Chopra plays Ayesha Mehra and Ranveer Singh essays the role of Kabir Mehra.

Not part of the Mehra family is Farah Ali, the character played by Anushka Sharma.

The film tells the story of the rich but dysfunctional Mehra family whose members can't see eye-to-eye on anything owing to their different points of view about life.

We learn that Ranveer Singh's character Kabir is a spoilt rich brat who wants to become a pilot but his father wants him to take over the business empire. Though he wants to break free from the family, he can't. He's a man shackled to the rich family.

On the other hand, Anushka Sharma plays Farah Ali, a self-assured girl who has run away from home to follow her dream of becoming a dancer.

Farah and Kabir meet on a cruise and fall in love. It's Farah who inspires Kabir to break free.

The love story indeed sounds interesting. We're sure the fans can't wait for June 5 when the film releases.

Seen it many times in Lakshya, WUS etc. Treatment and screenplay matters is such films. Story won't be unique like Luck by Chance for instance.

Zoya is not a fool , who will make ZNMD type film fir se . She is a smart director .I dont think their is any similarity b/w ZNMD and DDD.And c'mmon yaar zoya will repeat her characters of her last film like really ??😆
