1) Raja Hindustani (1996)
Aishwarya Rai was the first choice for the role of Aarti, which was later played by Karishma Kapoor. The film turned out to be a superhit and the Aamir Khan, Karishma Kapoor Pair' is still fondly remembered by many.

4) Munnabhai MBBS (2003)
Aishwarya was again, the first choice to play Munnabhai's muse. Coincidentally, Shahrukh Khan was supposed to play Sanjay Dutt's character in the film. In any case, the film turned out to be one of the finest comedy movies in Bollywood, spawning a franchise of its own.
