Heyo guys , here is a new ts of mine. Another random work ... Hope ull like it. Just go through the warnings once ...
Beware -
1) This is one of my timepass...I repeat again... timepass works !! Actually my travelling hours are gonna increase & I hate sitting idle in a public transport. So thought of writing an ishhhttoorrryy.😉😉
2)The story can go mad , grammar & words misplaced , characters insane & what not ... Go ahead if & only if u think u have the guts to bear it.
3) The chapters are gonna be short but (hopefully) regular ! Though I dont know how many I'm gonna write.

So the ones who have shown the himmat of scrolling down , let's start off. As ull know I never put character sketches ...so also here there won't be any. I prefer u urself deciphering the chars and their emotions. So here it goes , the first chapter of 'A Million miles Away !' Its just an introductory chapter to give ull an insight about the characters. Hope ull like this different wala Raghav.
Chapter 1
"God , you just blinded me with your beauty ! Now I think I need ur name & number for insurance purposes." He had said with one of his gorgeous posterboy expressions accompanied with his signature wink.
He knew it worked when he felt a feminine body being immediately plastered to his. Her arms around his neck as her stoplight red lips lingered around his face like a bee around a hive. Only difference she wasn't buzzing ... Well actually she was, she was ranting some dirty stuff in his ear but he seemed least interested in it as he laced his fingers around her waist.
He was about to lean closer to her when
"Raghav , Dad's home ! We gotta leave asap" It was Samar aka Sammy.
"What ?" he had turned so fast that the girl who was in his arms a while ago had to literally clutch onto the nearby bar counter to prevent herself from falling.
"But he was gonna come next week , right ? (Pause) Oh crap ! What's the date today Sammy ? "
The guys immediately made their way out of the club as they rushed home.
Once home , Raghav opened the door so precautionately ...it seemed he was entering some terrorist area. He peeked in , he huffed on seeing the lights off. But the lights of the study were on as he glanced upstairs. He very well knew what was awaiting him.
He felt Sammy's hand on his shoulder , he looked serious.
"I pray to the almighty above to have mercy on your soul when u reach hell. Hope u befriend Satan & manage to flirt with even the angels in heaven. May your soul rest in peace bro ... I shall really miss you .Amen !" Raghav narrowed his eyes, as Sammy burst out in a laughter.
" Do I get to keep ur watches now Raghav, especially after this fabulous pre-death speech of mine for u ?"
Sammy had said between his laughs. Raghav punched him hard on one of his biceps as he made his way upto the study. He had reached only halfway when he caught the sight of someone desecending the stairs. It was his dad , the only man in his life that he feared ...out of respect though , but yet he feared. His dad , the ultimate man of the business world known for his punctuality in particular. He stood in front of him, his arms crossed across his chest.
"What's the date Raghav ? " his voice so-calm , Raghav doubted whether he himself rememberd it. But he knew he did when his tone sharpened venoumously. " Raghav-Singhaniya ...when will you learn to take up your responsibilities ? Weren't you supposed to be at the airport now boarding a flight to California ? I had given u such a big deal to crack this time out of the trust I hve on u ...but u ? I am sure u must be in some club partying around ! Who stays out of house till ( checking his watch) 1in the night ?"
" No -- I mean I wasn't - I was working on the project only ... That's why I'm late...err, why don't u ask Sammy !" & within no time both the Singhaniyas were looking at Sammy ...who himself seemed like a deer caught under headlights. Toggling his gaze from Raghav & his dad for a few seconds "Ummm..yes dad ! Raghav was working " ...only if the 'working' had a bit more confidence in it , then maybe Raghav's dad would have at the least acted of believing him.
Raghav glared at Sammy like dangerously thinking 'Hamesha toh itna jhoot bol leta hai ...aur ab ?"
His chain of thoughts broke when he felt his dad nearing him. He forwarded his hand & withdrew Raghav's wallet from his back pocket.
"Dad - wait - what r u doing ..."
" Shut up Raghav ! " he had said with one of his deadliest stares as he opened Raghav's wallet .
Letting only a few notes & his license remaining in it he flung it back in Raghav's direction. Then saying sternly " All ur cards & accounts will be blocked till the time u don't crack this deal. U will manage urself & ur stay at California in the money that is in ur wallet only. If I get to know that u have borrowed money from someone " Raghav's dad paused as he glanced at Sammy & then back again " U very well know what can I do ! I think I have pampered u enough. Its high time now that u become responsible . Now pack ur bags quickly... I have some important calls to make !" Those last words as raghav saw his dad walk upstairs to the study with his phone to his ear. He sighed.
An hour later Raghav was standing at the door with his bags as he tapped his feet impatiently. He had finally yelled "Sammy, its me who is going to California , you are just driving me off to the airport. Why on earth do u have to be ready ...besides u r taking so long."
"Then why don't u take a cab...dad did give u some Money , didn't he ?" an obvious tease in Sammy's words which had made its way from within his room. Raghav checked his wallet as he sighed. XYZ dollars ...how is life possible ? He , the spoilt brat was in the habit of spending almost double of it each day. Looking at his negligibly full wallet , he shut it & stuffed it in the back pocket of his jeans with a huff.
"Fine Sammy ! I'll go walking" He left the house with his bags as he exited the house with the door's loud thud.
Stomping his feet like a child who was angry on his mom & had threatened her to leave home he continued to walk on the dark streets. His bag towing behind him , his mind thinking about the safest & the shortest route to reach his destination.
