Anushka lashing out at journo - video goes viral

A video snippet of an interview Anushka Sharma gave to a leading news channel has gone viral in which the actor has lashed out at the journalist interviewing her.

Anushka is accompanied by her 'NH10' co-stars Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumaar and can be seen getting irritated and annoyed with the journalist when the latter keeps asking questions related to her cricketer beau Virat Kohli.

Anushka after being needled about Virat again and again finally tells the journalist that she enjoys watching cricket like the rest of the country and that she has never discussed her personal life in public and is not about to do so in the interview either. She also states that asking her questions about whom she talks to on the phone is an extremely personal question and she would not be answering that. She categorically tells the reporter that she is not liable to anyone to talk about her personal life.

Anushka has recently been accused of 'distracting' Virat Kohli during the semi final of the ICC World Cup 2015 but many voices have risen in her defence and support from within and outside the film industry.

She wasn't lashing out at all. If anything she remained very calm and polite yet firm in her stand that she doesn't need to answer these questions nor should she be asked these questions.

The reporter was just being obnoxious and not letting it go. Even after someone tells you that they don't want to discuss their personal life and your next question is did you call someone in the team to wish them luck?? Really? Though maybe she was being pushed to ask these questions. Who was next to Anushka, to her left? He made a justifiable crack about the producers talking to her through her ear piece. Entertainment journalism in Bollywood doesn't have high standards does it?

Many of the entertainment reporters in Bwood ask some of the most annoying and passive aggressive questions I've ever heard. I know it's their job to get the juicy gossip but all they do is end up antagonizing the people they are interviewing.

Hats off to Anushka for handling that as calmly and deftly as she did. I don't think i would have as much patience as her if I were in her situation. I don't have much tolerance for people that act like that reporter.

I don't think she lashed out at all. She was actually pretty patient, polite yet firm with her response. And you can't just blame the reporter. That is their job. You can even see that the reporter was very hesitant in asking those questions which she was being PROMPTED to ask through the microphone in her ear which the actor with Anushka even mentioned. As much as its frustrating for the actors to be asked such questions, I feel for the reporters too. They are TOLD to ask those questions by the channel.

I liked how Anushka handled it.
