Mukti, I really am touched with this woman's emotions. I know many of you might have a puzzled look reading this, but I think I still can manage to justify.
She wouldn't be good with words, not all of us are. But she is not emotionless. I still remember the way she was shattered once those boys prowled at her in the boy's hostel. She was scared, unable to decide what to do. What went wrong with her? She is just a person who is unable to express her feelings rightly in words. She had to burst and she did. I loved it when she reached the bar to knock some senses into the dumb-heads. Those creepy losers deserved to get beaten up by girls. One who cannot respect a woman doesn't have the right to live and pollute the society. And those men around didn't bother to help a needy girl, but people let us, the GIRLS, make it very clear to you all, and the WORLD, that a Girl can give birth and she even beat the shit out of a man if needed. She wouldn't need you to support her, if you stand the same mentality, Losers.
Her words weren't harsh to only Nandini, she was the same her friends who cared for her equally. She isn't just rude to some selective people but Everyone. Because she wasn't wrong. And neither could she ever express her feelings to everyone. Because that's how she is. Hiding in a shell, protecting herself, hiding her emotions, her gentleness, her innocence, her delicateness - because a person has to put on the Defensive Mechanism on, because not everyone is polite to you, not everyone can treat you fair. Sometimes people need to put on a mask to fight back the world.
And after the last two episodes, I have gone sick about the mentality that people like Rocky and his so called Politician brother possess. I mean what on earth gives you the right to decide what a girl should wear, how should she dress up, where all she can move around etc, etc, etc.
I thought we resided in a DEMOCRATIC country, where everyone had the right to express what they felt, Openly. Every Individual had the right to make their own decisions. Then when on Earth did this Democracy change into Dictatorship, or was the meaning changed overnight. But still we proudly go cheering that our country is a democratic country with individuals having their right to make decisions for their lives. Like does that even happen in reality? Because from where I can see, brainless jerks like these roam around and openly flirt around, misbehave and then blame the girl. Like seriously, even if the girl roams around naked nothing, and I mean NOTHING makes it provoking for a guy to misbehave with her. It's an individual's choice to dress up the way they want to. A girl dresses up to please herself, to live her life and to stay happy, But not to provoke jerks like these. Nothing is wrong with the girls' dressing up but the mentality of those jerks and the stupid MYTH of the society that it is the girl who is at fault every time.
I am sorry, but the society has created this myth. It's the people of this society who have got such thoughts that whatever it is a man would not misbehave until and unless the girl provokes. It is the girl who is at fault, like seriously? People need to open up their minds as well as their eyes to look that it is the wrong thinking incorporated in the minds of these jerks that leads to such incidents and has nothing to do with a girls' dress.
Its time to show the girl power to these brainless jerks, and knock down some senses into their brains, which I doubt would happen but still It is important, to bring a change it is important to take that one step. And every individual has to take the step.. towards progress.. towards Freedom.
Hatts off to the team which had come up with such a sensitive topic, to make a change. Really, the respect for the entire KYY team has just increased with every passing second.
PS: I really want the KYY girls to stand up for this cause, together, and fight the wrong. I really wish and hope that this brings the girl gang of KYY together, strong and united. And not to forget we already have Manik and Cabir in the background. And soon Dhruv would join hands too.
