Hi, I am silent follower of the show, I just happened to guess the 7 garud.. Shiva couldn't trace coz perhaps the 7 garud has not been born yet.Garud can be rudra or Maya's unborn child. So when Maya will conceive the garud chinn will form on her stomach, she would be the carrier of new legacy
OR
if water from gupt Saraswati kund water may be fed to revive Maya garud chinn may form on her stomach, like the same happens in the novel immortals of meluha , the hero in the novel is fed with somras and his throat turns blue
