@ Shyamala - The thing that touches your heart is that he is so very happy to find his wife again. Maybe they never had a chance to build a trusting relationship before as he was busy in his research. We do not know the back story. But I hope that Ganga is able to understand him at least. Till now no one from his family has asked him what had happened to him? Ganga would ask about Rudra as he was a helpless kid 24 years back, unlike Shiva who was grown and capable. I guess that's the reason everyone takes him for granted at least in his family.

@Arshics actually I do not have any problem with Rudra-Maya hospital scenes. They are ok for me. I mean he has fallen in love. Lot of factors would have contributed to it. His loneliness, her way of doing penance for something which she was not directly responsible, he getting his real mother through her. She comes across as a dependable and trustworthy girl. Willing to give it all for the person who keeps her trust on her and whom she trusts. Also they both are one way or other not bought up by their real parents during childhood. So a common thread there also.
