"India is playing awesome. We are sure to win this time."
The FITE auditorium was packed with students where a
screening of India vs Ireland world cup match was being
shown.
"Yeahhh!!!!! Jeet gaye.."
All the students got up and started celebrating.

MECHANICAL LAB
SAME TIME
"Guys we have been working for the last 5 hours. Lets just take a small break." Vidushi spoke.
"Come on Vidushi. We have so much to do. We are going to compete with Phd students within 3 weeks and that is not childs play. Forget food and sleep for now." Randhir spoke all frustrated. What was wrong with this girl. They had to compete with their seniors to ensure that the dream team was theirs and here she was tired within a few hours.
"Exactly Vidushi. For once try and understand the seriousness of the situation." Parth spoke shaking his head.
"Fine. Sab mujhpar hi chad jao. Main toh bass.."
Vidushi was interrupted by Sanyukta, " Guys she is right. We should all go and relax a bit."
"Yes actually lets go to the canteen and we shall all come back after an hour." Sahil said.
They all started packing their things when they heard a commotion outside.
"Yeah..jeet gaye.."
"Maza aa gaya."
"This time we are sure to win."
"Haan. Jise jo karna hai karlein. Its our cup. We wont give it back."
"What is all this?" asked a puzzled Vidushi.
"Arree..ji who cricket world cup chal raha hai. Aur ji who hamari India bahut acha khel rahi hai. Yeh sabh uska hi hain." Yo Yo answered her.
"Oh..ok.."
And they all left.

FITE CANTEEN
"I have given everyone's order. Lets get seated."
They all got seated.
"Guys I am really tensed. I mean voh PhD students hai and we all are 4th year students. They have so much more knowledge than us. If by chance we lose then." Sahil spoke.
"Come on Sahil. Have confidence within yourself. On Vardhan sir. He has taught us never to go down without a fight whatever may be the condition."
Sanyukta tried to make him understand.
"Why are you trying to fool him." A voice came fom behind them.
They all turned to see who had spoken and saw their competitors.
The Phd students came up and sat down on their table.
"Hiee. I am Anmol. And he is Ajai. Although I have already introduced myself to some of you. Haven't i?" Spoke one of them looking at Sanyukta.
Randhir gritted his teeth to control himself as he remembered the incident that had taken place a few hours back.
FLASHBACK
"Sanyukta come fast. The entire team must be already there in the lab. Because of you even I am late."
Randhir spoke as the two of them made their way towards the lab.
" You go. Il just get some a water bottle from the canteen." She said as she started to walk towards the canteen when he stopped her.
"No wait. You shall take hours even for this small job. Wait here." He spoke as he went.
"Mujhe toh ekdam bekar samjhta hai. Sadu" Sanyukta thought when she felt someone's presence behind her.
She turned around to find a boy standing.
"Hiee. You must be Sanyukta, right?" he asked.
"Yes. And who are you?"
"I am Anmol."
"ok..umm..do I know you?" Sanyukta asked a bit confused.
"You will soon."
"Sorry?" she was a bit confused.
"Actually I wanted to ask you how does it feel to not be a part of dream time anymore?" he spoke as his innocent face turned into an evil one.
"What? What do you mean?" Randhir spoke as he came in between him and Sanyukta.
"I mean that you are not a part of dream team anymore. And I am going to be in it very soon. Although dean sir has kept that stupid competition between us. I mean seriously btech students vs PhD." He laughed.
"Lets go Randhir. We shall show him on the field." Sanyukta said sensing Randhir's rising anger.
She caught hold of his arm and pulled him away.
FLASHBACK ENDS
"So as I was saying dream team. Oh I mean ex dream team. Why are you people even trying. You have your final exams coming up. Study for it. Dream team mein toh fail ho hi gaye. Abh kahin btech mein bhi fail na ho jayo."Anmol laughed as he and Ajai gave a high-five.
"Listen. The competition hasn't started yet. So no need to jump to results. And we can beat you at anything."
"Really at anything?"
"Yes anything." Replied the entire team in union.
Anmol looked around and he saw the other students celebrating over the Indian cricket victory and something came into his mind.
"How about a game of cricket?" he asked.
"What?" Vidushi looked at him confused. A game of cricket did he say.
"Yes you just said you can beat us at anything. But looks like you aren't capable of even playing a game. What will you do on field?" Ajai mocked them.
"Exactly. Abhi se hi backing out. Dream team toh bhul jayo. Its not yours anymore."
Sanyukta looked around her. People had gathered around them to see whether the challenge was up or not.
She looked at Randhir and then at all the others.
Words played in her mind,
". Have confidence within yourself. On Vardhan sir. He has taught us never to go down without a fight whatever may be the condition."
"jo karna hai karlein. Its our cup. We wont give it back"
And she got up.
"Challenge accepted. The game is on."
Her words played in everyone's ears.
"What. No. I mean we don't even know how to play cricket." Vidushi panicked.
"Come on Vidushi. We are the dream team. Okay. Its our title that we have earned and maintained for the last three years. We are definitely not going down without a fight. We don't back out at anything. Anything means anything.
The title is ours and we are not giving it back." She spoke confidently looking at Anmol in the eye.
"Are you in with me?" she asked looking at her friends.
Randhir had been observing her for the last few minutes. He had noticed how her face had the anger look whch had slowly turned into a confident one. "She never backs out." He couldn't help but smile.
"I am in." he got up.
Sanyukta looked at him a bit surprised. She had expected him to stop her. But here he was the first one to be supporting her.
"We are all in" they all got up.
"Not bad huh..well then day after tomorrow on the field at 5. And ensure that these damsels don't turn into damsels in distress." Ajai laughed as both of them went away.
"These people. I am so not going to leave them." Randhir spoke when Sanyukta held his hand.
"Randhir. We shall answer back all their questions on the field. Get ready for your next task dream team. We aren't giving our title back."
Sanyukta spoke as they all shared a group hug.
