I'm not being critical here. This show is very well made and if getting 'inspired' by Game of Thrones is the reason, then nothing like it! Just drawing up some of the parallels that I noticed, especially after last night's episode.

1. Helena's character is modeled on Cersei Lannister, even dresses like her.

2. Justin-Noor's devar-bhabhi affair is similar to Cersei-Jaime's illicit relationship. They too have a illegitimate son (Siyamak is modeled on Tommen Baratheon).

3. Sushim's character is fully based on Joffrey Baratheon.

4. Sushim got slapped by Justin just like Tyrion slapped Joffrey.

5. Charumitra's fiery rituals are reminiscent of Melisandre and R'hllor.

6. Selecus Nicator is like Tywin Lannister.

7. Chanakya seems to be playing Hand of the King (like Eddard Stark).

8. The whole show is a game of thrones, but that I think is an actual historical coincidence.

But yes, clothing design ideas and some character developments are definitely inspired.

if anybody has seen any other similarities, please tell me and I'll add them here.

I have not watch any season of GOT but heard much abt it.but now i m planning to watch it.

This show is probably inspired by many aspects and angles. Initially it was inspired by Shakuntala (we may see more of that again) and possibly Game of Thrones (I haven't seen or read about it but you do seem to be on point.)

Both are great stories so I hope CVs use the inspiration wisely instead of mushing and mashing tracks to create unnecessary drama 😆

ok now if i think in this way then maybe..but i feel GOT is way better executed, well its a foreign series, can't blame that on this series.

but i feel Justin can nowhere come close to the awesomeness that Tyrion's character is :D...same goes for Joffery...yes i am partial to GOT😛... Chanakya loooks more like Vary's 😆 than Ned..

loving Ashoka though..only hindi serial that is worth watching nowadays!
