As Jaitsar people have become educated, urbanised, modern, the CVs must have felt the urge to show the viewers how real villagers of Rajasthan behave and what their lifestyles are. Pure and unadulterated versions.

Akhera singh in all his glory. Suspecting his daughter. She is allowed to wear stylish almost backless blouses trying to meet her lover in a temple as it is the only place she is allowed to visit. No multiplex or mall or restaurant. Qayamat se qayamat tak revisited.

Nimboli must have seen Home alone many times and she is trying desi version of tormenting people. Timepass. Poor thing, what else can she do? If her father was alive she would have got so many playthings, good school, toy cycles etc. I am sure she did not see a toy in akhera's house. When she meets anandi and her house, it will be a culture shock for her.

I do not think nimbuli will be able to settle down with anandi because it is a vast change in her lifestyle. Anyway akheral singh s home will be her maika.

Characters and settings and everything looks very fake.
Can't say much about the actors because they seem to be doing what they have been asked to do.
They all look similar to Ratan Singh's family.More grey and negative.
In BH Dsa and J where positive characters with shades of grey
Here these are all negative can't see this story running long like the way little Anandi Jagya Dsa story ran for two years
On top of it as long as they are showing it as a parallel story .Parallel stories if they are not connected with the main story they are not interesting.
It is unbearable mainly because it is artificial and looks forced. It looks as forced as Kahani Sanchi ki did.🥱
Only thing is that since we viewers know that she is Anandi Shiv's kid that's why we watch it because we want to see how their kid is growing up. Otherwise Nimboli's kahani doesn't work for me at all.

Neither Jhalra and its inhabitants looks like real village and real villagers nor was the case with Jaitsar. But Jaitsar was presented a little more close to reality. Otherwise - even in Jaitsar - except for DS - every character spoke urban Hindi in BH, a modern kitchen with built-in self-ignition hob was used for cooking etc. Though bal-vivah was a norm - but all the couples had only one or in rare cases - two children - very urban thing.
Coming to Jhalra - the Akhera family is given a get-up of tribal attire but they are too brutal. On one hand - Akhera haveli has minimum furniture and cooking on firewood (like backward village) and on the other hand - there is no bal-vivah and girls going to co-ed school. Kundan's elder sister must be around 20, still she is unmarried and therfore - that other balika vadhu suddenly introduced in the village looks forced. Akhera family has not used their beendni as house maid but a generation ago - Anandi was used to do lots of household works even though she was younger than Nandini. Creatives show random setting and think viewers believe it is a village.

Akhera slaps his wife and it must be often. She accepts it without a complaint. the son sees all this and gets inspiration to further ill treat his balika vadhu.

Akhera's daughter Kamli? falls for some civilised guy and her father may want to marry her to another MCP.

I felt I am watching Chengis Khan in action.

Why our villages are still so backward? Is it because males are considered superior beings to females? Why our parliament and assemblies have overwhelming males? Even in women ruled states, most of the ministers are males. Allover the world, the most powerful persons are males.
I feel this maybe due to years of male dominance, women being seen as unequal beings in armed forces(with very rare exceptions), women in advertisements showcased as cosmetics and eye candy, women's role confined mainly to run the kitchen and rear the kids.

Bhairon was one character who was suave and far advanced in his thoughts. He was kept in tracks by the dictatorial dadisa who always favoured her MCP other son. His interaction with Sumitra looked so natural and so refined. A person does not become great by marrying a divorced or widowed woman only which sometimes look patronising.

Sumitra Bhairon pair escaped being separated. Bhairon accepted Sumitra for what she was and never made her feel anything less. It was Sumitra who failed him sometimes.

Yes, one of the best pairs in BV, Bhairon-Sumitra. Bhairon was well balanced guy.
He couldn't raise his voice against his mother but always silently supported Sumitra.
But same Bhairon opted for child marriage for his son and chose Anandi for Jagya ! with Bhairon-Sumitra-Dadisa, it looked quite believable.
Things are being shown OTT with Nandini.
How Nandini be so bold with Kundan and his parents when she is living constantly under fear and violence like a slave. Slaves aren't allowed to voice their opinion, right ?

Akhera slapping his wife explained a lot of things about his wife his son and his ghar ki little beendini as well as his daughter.
That man slapped his wife just because she interrupted him while he was in a meeting
It didn't look like this is the first time he resolved his difference of opinion with his wife this way.
Shutting her up by using force seem to be the way he handles his wife marriage and life as well.

Wife must have been brought up to believe that her life revolves around her husband and salvation to life comes only from making him happy and give him sons.Taking care of their son and making sure that her son got the best of everything they could offer is her main aim in life.
She took the slap without even protesting and was begging him to forgive her🤢

They were I guess forced to marry of this kid while he was a kid because of this blind belief and for some reason they are stuck with this little girl whom thye don't want to be part of their life.

The way she treats Nandini I guess is no different from the way she got treated by her sasuma and her pati.

This Akhera and his patni's lives revolve only around Kundan because he is a boy and so he should have everything that they can offer.

Kundan is obviously brought up just like the way Dsa brought up J except J had his parents who made sure that he turned out to be a decent fellow with all his faults.

So Nandini obviously will see this as a way of life.Copes with it as best as she can.Sometimes by talking back to them sometimes escaping from reality and sometimes playing pranks on them and sometimes crying into the night. Also thinks of coming up with ways to minimse the physical pain inflicted on her.

Mangala Devi - I guess she is elder brother's widow she is respected for that but that doesn'tmean she can have her say in the way things that happen in their family. So Devi ma act is her way of coping with reality

That girl - daughter - I suppose she is not allowed to go out of the house and she is just there to be packed off as a beendini to some place else may be into a family where the alliance would benefit both families. So if she defies her father it is only death,.

I know we see them as backward and at times fake - but what about all kinds of news about honor killings which we read in news papers where a girl's family kills off the girl and boy just because the boy was not their choice and not from their community?

True.Bhairon is one of the best characters.
The only flaw in him was the he would bow down before his mother's wishes that too against his best judgement.
I think he bowed down before his mother wishes and got both Suguna and Jagya married in childhood and they paid huge price in both cases.
Suguna was left pregnant and widowed even before her gauna happened and J the story has been told many times.

The best part was the way they used to put their beliefs in child raising in practice that too in the face of resistance from Dsa.

Sumi and Bhairon were one of the best couple until Anandi and Shiv came along.
