He said that it's as if every interaction between them is like a dance, when one makes a step - a dialogue, an expression, a movement, the others seems to respond with fluidity, one leads and the other follows always in harmony and always synchronized- be it a sad scene, be it a love scene, be it a fight- they seamlessly pick up where the others leaves off.

@bold : Beautiful! Saras-Kumud brought me back to daily soaps after my long hiatus of 8 years! They were simply magical. Can hardly say the same about Rudra-Maya.

I am with Happy ji on Maya.

If Maya is the female protagonist, she would have been written better. I think writers do not think so. So far, she has been described as a girl who Rudra fell in love with. And has some karmic connection. We tend to look for a strong personality in a character like female lead and she doesn't have one. She has been shown as a pushover. Until this 'vrat'.

Everyone else is so emphatic in their approach and has a mind of their own while she comes out as weak. Even if this is intentional and important to the story, it does paint a different picture for us. We saw Charles' story and we will definitely see Thappadiya mai's but Maya's? Even Katherine is talked about a lot.

And what kind of scenes are those in the Ashram. Fixing shawls, giving juice, patting back and doing these repeatedly.

Unless there is something better in store for her character in future.

My dear Arshi,

Re: part in blue, that lead pair used to remind me of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, in their unmatched and unmatchable dancing duets. There was the same effortless fluidity and the almost telepathic intuition of what the other was about to do. Even if you are not a Fred Astaire fan, do look up one of his duets with Ginger Rogers, and you will agree with me. That is exactly what hotdogg meant, I feel.

Sahi baat Shyamala,

Looks like Babbal couldnt resist the bahu and kangan stereotype. And saasu ma ke paanv dabana.

As for the feeding of the old ladies - 😆, so true. What the hell is she doing in the Ashram and why such a literal intrepretation of doing seva?

Anyway Dadi KI lottery lag gayi, she has got precisely the kind of bahu she wanted for rudra

That is missing, so sadly. You too have made reference to the chemistry that we have felt, and that was because of two equals both giving their best and as a result, taking the scene to a different level.

I hope if we have to have ICU main rona dhona and all, let it be done and dispensed of with soon.

The focus of the story that is, amrit Ki raksha and the search for the 7th Garuda, and Rudra's abhishek as the Garuda senapati needs to happen soon.

As for the kissa library ka, doesnt make sense as yet.

Arshi ji, you have eidetic memory to recall those lines as is 👏 I remember reading them. SaMud were ethereal and they were reason for many beautiful discussions/write-ups on the SC forum.

Like many others, they brought me to watching television after 10 years.

This was really an enchanting way to describe their chemistry and it just stayed in my mind

We had some great writing and writers all drawn to the beauty of Saras and KUMUD
