Rudra ke liye pichle do hafte kuch aise lag raha tha - yeh kya hua, kaise hua, kab hua

kyon hua

Ab lagta hai kuch aise - jab hua, tab hua oh chodo, yeh na socho yeh kya hua..

Lets get it over and move on now.

Sahi Baat Aparna, Happy's post today was spicy and totally mazedaar.

Since its the story of Rudra's journey, and falling in love is bound to be a part of it.

Dil ka tootana, judna, yeh toh hone hi tha

Aur Rudra has always been a dilwala!

Arshi, I did feel Charles & Kat(a Hari) looked like the most promising couple, but like you said they've not had that much screentime together yet, and here he was.. grandstanding on her behalf against some pretty powerful folks...I want to see his face when he discovers Kat's true colours...

I think it was not so much so much a pagal premi act as much as a surprise attack. The man is street smart and a daredevil to boot.

As for sudden pyaar - well with Rudra also the declaration of friendship was instant and deep, so hes clearly not a guy of 'dheere dheere dil bekaraar hota hai, hote hote hote pyaar hota hai

Maya- the writer has not done justice to the character. That scene where she was all tied up and speaks scornfully to Balivesh - she was excellent there. The romantic scenes - there's something missing that makes it almost embarrassing to watch - like road crash voyeurism! Am guessing she is quite a newbie still... And other actors are old pros... So its very glaring...

I dont think the writers have not been kind to her. Infact she has some great lines, and important scenes. Maya has been given a range of emotions and a strength of character to depict.

I follow her on Twitter - she seems to be a totally sweet & uncomplicated young person - this show must be a huge leap for her and I would not want to be harsh on a beginner. Mr Babbal knows best.😊

I am sure she's a sweet person and its not easy to be a part of a cast full of superb actors. She is expected to match up to a level for which she's probably not yet ready.

Dialogue writing has been top-notch.

Rudra's dialogues have changed so much!!!

The other day when Shiva tells Rudra that you have to look at it from a distance to understand the problem, it was well put. But immediately, the countering view was also brought up by Dadi that sometimes you need to come down and look close at the problem to find the solution. It was very smart writing. Both are correct. And to present both arguments, gave it so much weight.

Sorry to be mean, but now everyone is connected to Maya except Payal herself.

She hasn't got a grip of Maya, at all.

I too love the Dadi vs Shiva perspective of Macro vs Micro.

I think both these thought processes will shape Rudra and make him more holistic and balanced - two very important qualities of a leader.

Shanti... It has always been that Rudr speaks little but always when he speaks to his peers he's usually sensitive and sensible... Like when he talks to Punnu...

I feel he's quite intimidated by Dadi (who would not be 😉) & also Sivanand (look at the chasm of knowledge/ignorance between them)... When he gets over that, we'll see a different Rudr...😊

GR was as usual, spot on with the way Rudr spoke to Maya... He should give acting lessons to his co- star... Then the whole scene will be perfect...

@italics - so true. he is intimidated, he is also not able to comprehend the seriousness Shiva's mission.

Actually, even prof Rao and Shiva himself are not yet conveying the urgency.

While the Nagas seem to be training for war, the Garudas havent been mustered yet, and I dont see any panic from Shiva.

Anyway, Rudra's first reaction of not wanting to stir up trouble is understandable, but apart from a few attempts at gentle persuasion, Shiva hasnt done any aggressive pushing.

I think Siva's calmness, confidence are contagious ...😆 It's rubbed off on Rao & slowly infecting Tiwari...

Rudr is all heart - Mr Babbal has been so successful at getting that point across to us... Most of Siva's attempts to rouse Rudr so far have been logic & head-oriented, (except for the one time he asked for his son's help as a father)... So the person who will awaken the Garud spirit in Rudr is going to be Balivesh when he tries to harm Maya!!!!!

Balivesh is like that hammer that will ultimately hurt Nanu's thumb...😃

Rudra is also like his father completely one track minded. babdla toh badla, pyaar toh pyaar

So I guess Maya in danger will change Rudras track and converge it with Shiva's.

But shouldn't a rakshak fight without any personal agenda?

it will be interesting to see how that change will happen and Rudra will embrace his niyati.

Balivesh is like that hammer that will ultimately hurt Nanu's thumb...😃

I hope so, and not just his thumb, the man needs a far severe bashing, that too at the hands of his own son.

Dear Arshi,

A very neat and amusing summing up, as always.

Kamalahaasan used to joke that it did not matter to him who his heroine was, as he could romance even a wooden chair. I was reminded of that quip as I watched Rudra and Maya on Thursday night. The way she looks at him out of the corner of her eyes is acutely irritating, as is much else, and the jodi does not merit even your 5/10. Gautam tries his best, but it was only partially successful, for it must be tough having to act for two, as you noted some time back.

The fleeting instant where he was fully back in form was not during these so-called love scenes. It was when he was standing with Daadi, looking with evident contentment and vicarious pride (both set my teeth on edge, but let that pass😉) at Maya doing more seva - she has now graduated to hand feeding old ladies who could have polished off the whole plateful without her assistance😉. And of course paavn dabofying her sasumaa to be.

Daadi looks sideways at Rudra, her eyes conveying her abundant satisfaction with the latest and best candidate for membership of the Brahma Nisht Panth. He looks back at her shyly, and then he ducks his head and smiles ever so little, partly to himself and partly to her. It was delightful.

As was the other moment a little later, when Daadi points out her pota to Maya, who looks across at Rudra in startled recognition. He looks down, sideways, anywhere but back at her. It was very quick and very convincing.

I am allergic to bahu lene aayi thi beti le ja rahi hoon and khandaani kangan scenes (though those kangans were very pretty! ) and the Daadi-Maya segment was so sappy most of the time that I began to feel queasy. I suppose this will continue on Monday over the bhutta. The Lord save us from this overdose of treacle and molasses! 😡

As for Daadi, I am waiting for her to trot along to the 'Veshes, and announce, in hopeful tones:
Rudra aur Maya ek ho rahe hain, aur aapke aashirwaad ki apeksha rakhte hain!! Topping that off with a flowery reference to Maya's mother, who was like a beti to her, and who had hoped for the same BNP-SSP merger. Naanu will not bat an eyelid - while quietly getting Balivesh to take out a post-Mahakumbh supari for the couple, as MaddyO suggested! - but Balivesh will very likely burst a blood vessel!

But with all the shindy about Ganga getting shot ( presumably on Monday but could be any time up to Thursday judging from past practice re: precaps! ), this momentous scene might well be postponed. Pity, for it would have been so splendid!

Then again, I had taken it for granted that at least in a mytho-thriller, one would escape the normally mandatory scene in front of the ICU. But it seems that even that modest hope is to be belied😡 .

Yes, Charles, how could I forget him? That whole scene was ridiculous. Why on earth does Shivanand invite the other 3 down to his hideout at all? Charles, in particular, seeing how crassly unconcerned he is about his garudatva? Shiva might not have known about Charles' crush on Katharine, but even so, it was a very ill-judged move.

In fact, while I could understand why he brought her there - as he has no other private place - what I could not understand was why he tied only her hands, not her feet as well, and why he did not give her the knock out injection straightaway, to last till he had decided what to do with her next.

And how does Shivanand believe that she will not betray this hideout to Greyerson? The DM and Prof. Rao have known about her being in contact with Greyerson from her phone, and surely they must have told Shivanand. Just because she is a garuda, how can he assume that she will not immediately lead Greyerson to this vital secret, as Charles must have taken her out of the baudi entrance and she would have noted the location carefully?

It is as if Shivanand had said to Greyerson & Co.: Do come in, folks, and make yourself comfortable while it insert the rudrakshas and show you how to operate the Garuda Positioning System. Hardly the kind of irresponsibility and lack of security consciousness that someone in his position, the lynchpin of the Save the Amrit project, should display.😡

Sahi baat Shyamala,

Looks like Babbal couldnt resist the bahu and kangan stereotype. And saasu ma ke paanv dabana.

As for the feeding of the old ladies - 😆, so true. What the hell is she doing in the Ashram and why such a literal intrepretation of doing seva?

Anyway Dadi KI lottery lag gayi, she has got precisely the kind of bahu she wanted for rudra

You know during SC days when we were discussing the chemistry between the leads, in one of the posts i think hotdogg said something really beautiful.

He said that it's as if every interaction between them is like a dance, when one makes a step - a dialogue, an expression, a movement, the others seems to respond with fluidity, one leads and the other follows always in harmony and always synchronized- be it a sad scene, be it a love scene, be it a fight- they seamlessly pick up where the others leaves off.

That is missing, so sadly. You too have made reference to the chemistry that we have felt, and that was because of two equals both giving their best and as a result, taking the scene to a different level.

I hope if we have to have ICU main rona dhona and all, let it be done and dispensed of with soon.

The focus of the story that is, amrit Ki raksha and the search for the 7th Garuda, and Rudra's abhishek as the Garuda senapati needs to happen soon.

As for the kissa library ka, doesnt make sense as yet.
