PART 30-

The next day early in the morning, Sammy rushed to the airport. He definitely did not want to miss this. He was really angry.. He waitied for an hour when he heard the announcement that the flight that was to reach India from New York had arrived. People came out of the Arrival Area. Sammy sneaked up behind the people and followed a guy who was walking with his eyes on his mobile. Once out, Sammy pounced on the guy. The guy lifted up his eyes and looked bewildered as to who was this monkey that so happened to latch himself on his back. He tried to get him back down but of no use. Sammy got down atlast and shouted,"Raghav !!!!!!!" Raghav's eyes widened as he turned towards the serious face..

Raghav : Sammy.. What are you doing here ?

Sammy : Uhh.. Actually, I was looking for a moron of my brother who didn't even happen to say that he was arriving today..

Raghav : I was actually thinking of giving you a surprise..

Sammy snickered at the pathetic attempt to lie..

Sammy : When have you ever learnt to keep ur surprise, Raghav ?

Raghav : Hey !!!! I do keep surprises..

Sammy : Really ?? Well, the last time I knew it, Dad managed to know what his birthday gift was..

Raghav : U cnt blame me. He was blackmailing me.

Sammy : Whatever.. Let's go.. I'll drop you home and directly drive to office.

Raghav : I am coming too.

Sammy : Oh no, u are not. I knew you would lie to me that u arrived last night and stayed in a hotel but I am not taking it.. So suck it up.

Raghav : Sammy please.. I dnt want to stay at home idle. I want to come too. Its been ages since I've visited our office.

Sammy : Raghav.. You won't budge, will you ??

Raghav : Never !!!!

Sammy : Fine.. Get in.. Let's go..

The duo started towards office. They were chatting as to what had happened in the one year that had passed.

Sammy : Raghav.. Kalpi arrived yesterday..

Raghav by now was well-versed as to how to mask his emotions very well. He looked at Sammy with a plain expression.

Raghav : What do you mean, she just arrived ?

Sammy : I sent her to Delhi for a project. She was not in a very good mood since you left..

Raghav : Ok..

They reached office and Raghav was welcomed with flower bonquets and wide smiles. Raghav went inside his cabin and saw it decorated with sunflowers. He smiled a small smile. Only Kalpi could have done this. Kalpi came in without noticing that Raghav was inside. Both looked at each other..

Kalpi : Raghav Sir.. You ?? When did you come ?

Raghav (curtly) : This morning.

Kalpi : How are you, Sir ??

Raghav took his phone and talked with someone. Suddenly his phone rang. Kalpi's smile swept off her face. Raghav looked at her and attended the call. He went out of the cabin.. Kalpi started to cry.

Kalpi : I know Sir that I have hurt you a lot. But it hurts to have you ignoring me like this.

Outside, Pakhi and Sammy were watching this. The sighed and decided that they would let this matter solve itself..

Days moved on. The tension between Raghav and Kalpi was still there. Kalpi wanted to talk to Raghav but he always found an excuse to run away from there hurting Kalpi in the process. Pakhi and Sammy got closer than ever and the bond of understanding between them grew bigger. Aarav's wedding was fast approaching and so did the Shopping Fever. Poor Sammy had to trail behind Pakhi as she got up and down the various shopping malls and dress stores. He had to carry the numerous shopping bags. Kalpi was busy with work and so Pakhi did her shopping for her. Pakhi had decided that until the wedding was over, she would stay at the destination. The plan was that the four would travel to the farmhouse on the outskirts osf Mumbai a day before the wedding but Pakhi had other plans... She managed to convince Kalpi by making Kamla Bai emotionally talk to her. Sammy was given the task of convincing Raghav. Raghav being the thick-headed moron bluntly refused to come. Sammy's dad had to be brought to convince Raghav. Atlast Raghav agreed.. On the day of mehendi, Kalpi and Pakhi were in Naina's room helping her getting ready..

Kalpi : You look beautiful, Naina..

Naina : Thanku Di..

Kalpi : No Di.. U can call me Kalpi..

Naina : Ok Kalpi..

Pakhi : Aarav will be mesmerised to see you..

Naina : Do you think so, Pakhi Di ?

Pakhi : This is not fair. U call Kalpi by her name and me as DI ???!!!

Naina : LOL.. Sorry Pakhi..

Pakhi (smiling) : Its ok.. And yes, Aarav will be mesmerised to see you. You both look like you are made for each other..

Naina (blushing) : Thanx Pakhi.. U just need to speak out ur heart to the person you love. Even in a problem.

Pakhi : Yes. Even in a problem, you have to speak ur heart out. The person you love deserves to know wht is in your heart. A sense of understanding develops..

She said the last part looking at Kalpi.. Kalpi looked at the mirror giving a thoughtful look. Pakhi smiled. She knew she had made Kalpi think. And if Kalpi was thinking something, then she was definitely going to do it..

Pakhi : You know. Its bad that the guys have no work.

Naina : What do you mean ?

Pakhi : I mean, they dnt have to wear makeup and decorate themselves. I reckon only Aarav is in the groom's room.

Naina : Where do you suppose the other two are ?

Pakhi : Sammy mentioned that he was going to have an ice-cream outside and also mentioned that Raghav was definitely going to be in the garden tending to the plants.

Kalpi came back to reality after hearing the last part. She looked at Pakhi who turned her face to Naina's hair. But sideways, she looked at Kalpi and smiled.

Kalpi : Uh.. I'll be back..

Naina : Where are you going, Kalpi ?

Kalpi : Ummm.. I need to make an important call.. I'll be right back..

Saying this, Kalpi ran out leaving a confuse Naina and a smiling Pakhi. Kalpi ran to the garden. She scanned with her eyes for sight of Raghav and spotted him with his back onto her tenderly caressing a plant. She went and stood behind him. Raghav rised and turned to see Kalpi standing there looking at him. He took out his phone and pretended to make a call..

Kalpi : How long will you pretend to ignore me, Sir ??

Raghav : What are you talking about ?

Kalpi : I know definitely well that you know what I am talking about.

Raghav : I have to go..

Kalpi (catching hold of his hand) : No u are not.. I need to talk to you..

Raghav turned back towards the plant caressing it.

Kalpi : Raghav !!

Her voice was different. Raghav thought that her voice was different. He had never heard her voice like this. He turned towards her and was shocked to find her in tears. His eyes widened and he went towards her.

Kalpi : Sir, I am really sorry. I did not know about ur past and so I spoke like that. My intention as not to hurt you. If I knew it before, I definitely wouldn't have asked you such a question. I am really sorry..

Tears started to fall from her beautiful eyes. Raghav caught the tear in his hand and wiped it on his shirt. Her face was bent down. Raghav used his fingers to lift her chin up. Her face was beautiful illuminated by the moonlight. He wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead.

Raghav : Am sorry Kalpi. I was being a moron and think-head. I should have realized that u did not know about my past. I was being immature..

Kalpi : No Sir. It was me. I was being immature and childish. I shouldn't have asked you the question. I was...

Before she could complete her sentence, a pair of lips shut her mouth. Kalpi's eyes widened as she felt Raghav's lips on hers. He moves slowly into her mouth tasting her sweet carvans and exploring her mouth like a conquerer explores kingdoms. Kalpi returned the kiss with much passion and love. They broke apart. Raghav took out something from his pocket.

Raghav (opening the box) : Will you be my Valentine ???

Kalpi : Ofcourse, I would be, Sir..

Raghav (pulling her to him) : Its only Raghav to you..

Kalpi : Alright, Raghav AKA Mr. Singhania..

Raghav slipped the ring onto her finger and they shared a passionate hug. Unknown to them, Sammy, Pakhi and Aarav were watching them with wide smiles. They went and stood clearing their throats. Nothing happened. Sammy slapped the back of Raghav's head. Raghav jerked anmd turned around to watch the three of them smirking like maniacs. Pakhi went and hugged Kalpi.

Pakhi : Kalpi.. Am so very happy for you.

Aarav (hugging Raghav) : I am so very happy for you..

Sammy (hugging Raghav) : My Brother !!!! You managed to shed off ur moron image, haven't you ?

Sammy (to Kalpi) : Congrats Kalpi.. Oops... Or should I start calling you Bhabi from now on ?

Kalpi (Blushing) : Shut up, Sammy...

All of them laughed and shared a group hug..

PHEW... Got back to this FF after a very long time.. To say the truth, I missed it so very much.. This is my first FF in this forum and am glad to continue it.. Am sure many of you missed this FF.. This is for you guys.. Ur RagNa is back again.. And from now on, it will be romance between RagNa and do expect some twists and Blast From The Past 😉 Do LIKE and COMMENT..
