Sorry for the late unres Deepthi, yesterday was a bit chaotic at home.Another nice update from you, as usual.
The Raizadas going to the hospital at Alibaug before they close it down and their walk through the hospital taking them down through memory lanes was very emotional and it also shows their strength as a family. The significance of the window scene was indeed sweet. So thats where the senior Raizadas love story began and coincidently its where Arnav's love story began too.
Pity that some criminally selfish people like Deshmukh tarnished the image of the hospital to the extent of its closure. I hope one day Arnav can restore its glory back.
Hard to believe that Arnav stayed without talking to Khushi for two whole weeks, and Khushi thinking about him and the pinky promise was also cute. Married at such a young age and subsequently hardly getting any real love from her husband, all this is as new to her as it would be to an unmarried girl.
Love makes you do all weird stuff, isn't it. Arnav making Anjali call pretending to be a call from the hospital and the sign language of coughing, I was thoroughly enjoying their small adventure until that Kameena showed up.
Nerve of him to show up like that. Shameless asshole to the core, how could he even face Khushi and talk about a settlement.
Murderers should not get out of court settlements but they should just be hanged.
"You cannot afford a girl as child? Then why the hell were you born to a woman and married a woman?" Khushi screamed, outraged with his double standards. "You need a woman to have sex every night and yet you say..." Her words got lost in her throat, choking back her tears.
The above sentences said everything . Hate that Karan for ruining someone's life, for thinking that women should be used and disposed, for having a mentality that women are only fit for either working like a slave or satisfying man's lust in bed.
I loved how Khushi said that she will fight for her children's justice even if she has to sell every organ in her body. Khushi is in such a stage where she has lost everything, her married life was a sham, her babies are dead, she cannot even conceive again, what else can she lose any more?
Now she is just a wounded tigress waiting for her revenge, for her justice.
For me Shashi was a disappointment today. I agree he lived in a lower middle class life in a rigid society all this life. But this was an opportunity for him to raise above the so called pseudo norms of the society, do something for his devastated daughter and yet he chose the easy way out again.
Deepthi, yesterday I was watching the news on the ongoing controversy about the documentary "India's daughter" about the Delhi rape victim.
The interviews of not only the rapist but of the so many other normal people like you and me, shocked me.
A politician says in a speech in front of thousands of people, that boys will be boys, no matter what. If a girl goes in front of them alone in the night then they will be tempted to rape her. This was the exact statement the leader of the country made.
For some moments I was so shocked. Another lawyer says women are like sweets, if you keep it open on the streets then dogs will eat them. So he is questioning why are women going out alone on the streets. They are inviting to be raped.
After listening to all those talks, my immediate thoughts came back to this story. We, our societies are giving birth to men like Karan, who have the least regard for women and who think women are there only to satisfy a man's penis.
