Shekhar Kapur was to make the much spoken about Paani with Yashraj films this year. Talks of Sushant Singh Rajput (also Aditya Chopra's blue eyed boy) playing the lead also made rounds.
But this tweet from Kapur on March 3 raised the first doubts of Paani being shelved again.

Shekhar tweeted the same from Toronto, and has stayed silent since then on his futuristic film. and now our sources tell us that Paani is indeed off the table for the present. Yashraj Studios is currently reeling under the tepid response to Dawaat E Ishq & Kill Dill to venture into a big budget flick like Shekhar's.
