Salman's next film is Sultan
Superstar puts all other projects on hold and gives priority to Ali Abbas Zafar's sports based film, for which he will start shooting this September

Currently, Salman Khan is busy shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which is slated for a Diwali release. After the film's completion, the entire industry is waiting to know which film will Salman actually start next. considering there are several projects of his in the pipeline. Now it has been learnt that Salman has already given a go ahead to Ali Abbas Zafar's film, Sultan.
Apparently Salman loved the script so much that he immediately gave a nod to start the film from this September itself. While nothing is known about the film as yet, it has reliably been learnt that it is a sports based film. A source says, "In fact, Salman had loved Ali's idea long back and agreed to do it on principle. But, the officials at Yash Raj Films were waiting for Salman to sign Sultan when the entire script was ready.
A few days back when the final narration happened, Salman was mighty impressed and informed Ali that he love the script and intends to start the film this year itself. In fact, Salman said that he would be giving Ali his dates from this September. Ali was obviously thrilled."Commenting further on the recent development, the source adds, "Salman is very clear that while he already has an interesting line up of films, he wants to do good cinema and content driven films. Ali's script is said to have sports as its backdrop and that's why Salman is keen to start the film immediately.
Currently Salman is busy wrapping up Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, following which he will start shooting for Sultan and then Shuddhi. Sultan is now expected to be Salman's Eid release next year."
