I wouldn't know about the number of Indian actresses who are stars in the Indian filmindustry and decline to do audition, but I know that Deepika got approached for the 4th season from the makers because they wanted her...so, yes, if they really wanted her, why then a screen test?

In addition, there could be other reasons she declined the role and n o t the one alleged in the tweet.

Just another unverified assertion to give her a negative image...
