If love fell in your lap, don't be an idiot, and push it off, hold it tight, my dear before you regret.
She did the idiotic thing, she pushed the love she felt for Shlok, now she is regretting when she have only few moments of life. She never gave a chance to him to explain when he tried yet accused him for incident she only saw but never learned the intention he had, now she is regretting when she have only few moments of life. Why is she justifying him now? Because she have only few moments of life? Is this the reason?
No it's not, it's not the reason for her justifications, the reason is her father, the enlightened truth of her father, we believe what our eyes see but not what our heart tells, and she did just that, believed her eyes rather than her heart. Her father lived a life of misery to protect her mother, that is sacrifice, that is love but her love? Her love is not love, its selfishness, she is selfish.
She felt a hand gripping on her elbow than yanked upward, she looked up at the person through her teary eyes, only to find Vikram. Her wrist was still bound with ropes and she was gagged from mouth, she didn't protest nor she have the will to protest.
"What are you doing?" One of his men asked.
"I'm gonna take her out of the mansion to hide somewhere else." Vikram repiled.
"But the boss said---"
"I know what he said but her family might have brought police with them and they might search the area, I can't take risk. You guys stay here, I'll just hide her." He said and turned to leave.
***
"She have to be somewhere in this mansion." Shlok whispered as he turned another corner.
"When we hide something it is not in our house, why don't we try stable or---"
"We are going that way but this is big bloody mansion, I couldn't find stable, it is a wonder we found the garden. Here comes a nice lad, let us ask him."
Virat snorted and replied "Ask or threat? You scared the wits out of the lad we asked previously."
"Because he was interoggating a lot, a little punch---"
"A little punch? You knocked him down in instant and we didn't got the answer we needed."
"I will do it to you if you don't shut your mouth. Let's just split up." Shlok said darkly.
"Yes, let's split up. I'm more worried about myself than her with a dangerous guy like you."
Shlok was about to reply back but before he could Virat vanished away quickly.
Why can't they understand that the worry is tearing him apart?

"I can't let you die here, sweetie even if it costs me several thousand pounds." Vikram whispered to her as he dragged her away.
"We can say you escaped and---"
Before he could complete his sentence, a hard fist attacked his jaw after he was pulled away from her. He wasn't able to compose himself that another fist landed on his side, cracking few bones of his ribs.
"Wait! I was---" that same fist pounded his nose, blood rushed from his broken nose, black spots danced around his eyes as he fell on the hard floor.
Astha shouted through her gagged mouth but only muffled scream was heard, she tried to push him away to prevent any other attack.
"What the hell are you doing?" Shlok asked furiously.
She gestured him to remove the cloth on her mouth, he pulled down the cloth angrily.
"He was helping me!" She said furiously.
"Help?---"
"Are you fine Vikram?" She asked corcernedly.
"Barely alive, sweetie." He replied with a moan through his bruised mouth and spat out blood.
"Call her that again and I'm gonna make sure you're dead this time." Shlok said menacingly.
He bleached at his dark look, he's actually a dangerous man, he can't be the one she love, if he is, then he's dead.
"Tell me he's not the man you said you love?" Vikram asked.
She choked then gritted out angrily "It is a good thing you got beating, can't keep your bloody mouth shut." .
Vikram winced for revealing something she doesn't want.
She looked up at Shlok and fumed at the wide amused grin, he wasn't suppose to know that! Damn it!
"I was just decieving him,he---"
"Really?" He asked with a raised brow.
"I..It's..truth." She stammered.
"But your face says you're lying."
"I told you, I---"
She stopped when she felt his warm hand cupping her cheek, she confusedly looked up, he smiled gently before he said the words she thought she would never hear.
"I am so in love with you, love." He said with so much feelings that her heart melted like butter, it felt music to her ears, her heart beamed with joy, she blinked back tears.
"You do?" She asked.
"Yes, I do." He said as he took her in a tight embrace.
She closed her eyes, so did he, both savoured the warmth of each other, felt the love of each other, felt contentment in each others arm. She could feel his grip tightening as she heard him sob softly.
She opened her eyes and gazed up at him, he still had his eyes closed but she didn't miss the trail of tear on his face, he is crying!
Unable to use her hand as it was tied behind her, she tiptoed and wiped the tear through her lips, he opened his eyes and locked it on her own.
"You don't know how I spent the whole month. Don't ever leave me, please." He pleaded with a gentle squeeze.
She stared at him for long, he is in love with her, it is no illusion of hers, she could see it in his eyes, the warmth and tenderness in his eyes.
She replied with a tender smile "I would never leave you, Shlok."
He smiled back at her then kissed her forehead.
"Now could you untie my ropes---"
"I'm sorry. Let's get you out of here. I knew Uncle Avdhoot isn't bad---"
"Father is here!" Astha asked excitedly as she rubbed her sore wrists.
"Yes, he is even your grumpy grandpa and Sid too."
"Don't call my grandpa grumpy, he is the sweetest person in this world."
"But for his son in laws he isn't. And father? And here I thought you hate him to the core."
"Because I didn't know the truth and I feel so guilty for doing this to fa---"
"What truth?"
"That he love mother as much as she did."
"Then why did he left her---"
"He didn't want to, he was saving mother's life---"
"I guess you forgot me, swee---Lady Astha." Vikram said as he tried to get up but fell back again.
She moved forward to help him.
"Try it, love and he's dead." Shlok said.
"Come on, Shlok. I can't leave him here, he helped me."
"I don't understand how he helped you, he was dragging you away, bounded and gagged."
"Because he didn't want his gang to know that he let me escape."
"He is one of them! And why is he helping you?"
"I don't know but he was and---"
"You beat this poor lad too! I can't believe---" Virat started as he approached them.
"Because he is one of her abductors."
"Who was helping me!" Astha said.
"He was helping her and you beat him!" Virat said aloud.
"I didn't knew that before she told me. Why the hell are we chit chatting here, we should be out of here!"
"But I can't leave him here."
"Virat will help him."
"Why me?"
"Because I said so. Let's go, Astha." Shlok said.
Before anyone could protest, Shlok took her hand and dragged away, leaving both Virat and Vikram furious.

"What the hell are you talking?" Prabhakar said angrily.
"I want my daughter back, I know you took her." Avdhoot said in the same level.
"Samrat, ask your son-in-law to stop, can you believe this man? He left your daughter for his mistresses now he is making up crap stories to put the blame on me!"
"I don't know who is telling the truth. I just want my grand daughter." He said calmly.
"I don't know where she is, I didn't even know you had one!"
"You're lying!" Avdhoot accused.
"I am not! I've had enough of this. After a long time I've met you, my old buddy. I was so happy when I heard your name but I didn't know you will do this to me. I can't believe you would believe him over me."
Samrat stiffened, he couldn't understand anything, he doesn't want to hurt his friend nor can he believe what Avdhoot said awhile ago. The whole truth or lie of the past, his friend would never do that, he would never betray him, he shouldn't have come here.
"I'm sorry Prabhakar. I was so worried for my grand daughter that I became selfish."
"Father you can't---"
"Stop! Or I will forget you were once my son!"
"I can understand your worry, if you want I could help you."
"No need Uncle Prabhakar I am here." Astha said mockingly as she revealed herself followed by Shlok from behind the pillar.
More than few gasps was heard, Prabhakar blanched at the sight of her, how did she escape? Who is that guy behind her? Useless bunch!
"You son of a bitch!" Samrat shouted angrily as he clutched the collar of Prabhakar's shirt.
"I trusted you! You ruined the life of my daughter, even my grand daughter!"
Prabhakar pushed his hand away and shouted "He ruined the life of my daughter! She died for him!"
"She died because she was weak!" Avdhoot shouted then added "I never gave her false hopes, I never used her to get close to Kalindi! I treated her as a friend, she misconcepted our relation!"
"But she died and I will never forgive you!"
"So just to make him pay you ruined my daughter, my grand daughter even betrayed your friend?" Samrat asked.
Prabhakar stiffened and looked away then replied "Yes. I wanted revenge."
"Aren't you satisfied? What were you planning for my grand daughter?"
"Death." Astha said softly.
Samrat gave him a long stare before he sighed then said "Our business here is finish. Let's go. The police will do their work from this moment."
"They are coming, grandpa." Sid said as he held Prabhakar's elbow.
Prabhakar let him lead, he doesn't want to admit to his friend he feel guilty for what he did, that he was wrong, he was so blinded in his revenge that he lost his friendship in his life. He never intended to kill Astha, he couldn't do it, he had hurted his friend a lot but he would never tell him, he want him to hate him so he will lose any hope to get back his friend.
