Roy Crashes On Monday

Roy has crashed on Monday with collections struggling to hit even the 3 crore nett. The film was affected by the cricket match on Sunday so should have been covering some of that loss on Monday wich means it should have had a less than 50% fall or at worst 50% fall from Friday. But this has not happened and the film has capitulated on Monday.

The late evening and night shows may help a little but its not going to make much of a difference because it will still be a huge drop in collections.

The flops continue to come in 2015 and if Roy had not opened well the figures would have been a total disaster.

No point blaming Ranbir . Anything that has Arjun Rampal in lead = FLOP

The day Arjun signed the movie as Lead this movie became flop that day only.

the opening movie would have been 3cr instead of 9 if it was arjun and jacky only

not blaming at all😆..i too like him... the 1st day extra 2 crores (10 instead of 8) were due to him...

but i just feel this is his trademark, big crashes...it's fun...😆... he must be laughing as well as to why it has started to happen on his movies...the movie could have done 4-5 crores on Monday as it sustained on saturday and sunday, it went down because of cricket match...
but here we are...HUGE crash😆

Wow so you mean to say Arjun & Jacky have more star power than Ranveer, Varun, Sid & most other youngsters out there? Cos 8 crores is a lot more than what those actors could manage for their films last year 😆

Songs were chartbusters. That helped immensely. If you are saying the movie would earn 4 crs without Ranbir like some are saying, i don't think so 😆.
If the movie had relied heavily on Ranbir, monday should have been sustained... because stardom shouldn't help just friday and saturday, it has partial effects for a week at least. Ranbir fans don't cease to exist on Monday.

Most importantly, what i notice also is RK's stardom is very different from khans and is not unconditional. He has loyal fans but not blind fans...So, it is critical that Bombai Velvet is a good movie otherwise it's gonna be a disaster in boxoffice.

If Ranbir has starpower like Khans, BV would open 25+ crores. I don't think it will open like that😆

With regards to other stars, one movie doesn't define stardom. So, i don't agree to ranbir fans here that Ranbir kapoor stardom is 20 crores because besharam opened like that.

The only thing that can be declared about Ranbir is his stardom is higher than other new generation actors and his contemporaries (agewise) like Shahid and Imran and lower than Khans, Hrithik, Akki and Ajay (probably).
