Is there a Filmfare award curse like Oscars?

I was just thinking that just because you win an Oscar or Filmfare, does it automatically mean a thriving career? Not necessarily. 😉 What happened to Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman? The same can be said for Vidya Balan. She won so many awards, now today she is not relevant. And Rani won so many awards at one time, where is she now? I think there is a Filmfare award curse like the Oscars. And Shahid has won now, will the curse affect him and he goes into flops again? Shandaar might be a mediocre product. And Kangana is not signing any good movies after Queen's success. Who wants to see Tanu Weds Manu sequel anyway? 😲

You never know, Shaandaar has a lot of hype and could come out as a mediocre product!
What about the actresses? Vidya and Rani lost their relevance and don't do many films now. 😉

Rani started doing dumb movies with Yash Raj after her Filmfare wins. Thoda Pyar Thoda Crap. And Vidya did three crap movies in a row. Yes, age and marriage are factors to. But Filmfare curse is also relevant! 😛

Rather I have always felt that filmfare adds to the star power of the actors!..it is like a validation of their talent!..😳

I don't know about Vidya but Rani only has herself to blame. She signed some bad movies just because they were YRF. The one with Shahid or the one with Saif where he's a race car driver, wasn't there one where she was a ghost? And then she went into this hiatus and I don't know if it was by choice or not.

Shahid goes into flops again?

What are you talking about OP? Someone's career suffering after winning FF or Oscar is just a coincidence, one has nothing to do with the other.
