HEllo everyone! 😊
You guys know that ajabde was maharana pratap's beloved true soulmate yeah? Even history verses this.😳 But sadly , she dies a very untimely death and it is said that it destroyed pratap so much that he wouldn't eat for three days straight and later found it hard to focus on his kingly duties...
Now I swear I don't mean to depress you guys with sad thoughts...but I wrote a small poem for ajabde from pratap's POV after she passes away... And I would love it if you guys would review it!
So here goes...:p
I hold out my hand where yours should be,
But that's been snatched away by destiny,
I am groping in thin air...
Pretending you are still there...
But now,
You are like a star I can't reach,
Like a lost shell on the beach,
Like a dream i can't remember,
Like a wisp of vapour...
When I have you yet I don't,
When I want you yet I won't,
You are so far yet so near,
So distant yet so dear.
For any words that remained unsaid,
For that support which never did fade,
For being not only my desire but my dream come true,
I love you.
And far far way from mundane reality,
Where from worries and strides we are free,
There lies a haven for few...
That's where I will be waiting for you...
