Malathy need good slap - she needs to stand up and ok to talk her feelings but she is over doing it - she become greedy - i think she wanted the house to herself if Kali has 3 houses why he didn't give her 1 one - he was a bad man and he used her mother big time and she should wait until Kali realise his mistake - she is pushing too much too soon - if she wanted to work she should and keep her independance and show them she can look after her family

😲 😆 Sue, "period" was used as an intensifier, here's a brief explanation of its usage:

Grammar. a word, especially an adverb, or other linguistic element that indicates, and usually increases, the degree of emphasis or force to be given to the element it modifies, as very or somewhat; intensive adverb.

A more likely occurrence would be when some form of qualifier was originally specified:

"You don't want to go to football practice today?"

"I don't want to go to football practice, period."

Thus it's an intensifier - more or less meaning "That's my final word on the subject".
