Hey everyone!
A lot has been said about shastri's decision of separating anuraj, some see it right while some see it unfair. as a father I can see his concern, the last thing he'd want is anu to be married into a family where the mother in law is not happy with the marriage, as he rightly pointed 2 anu at the hospital, marriage is not just between two people but also between 2 families, hence, family members happiness matters too. However, my question or rather confusion is where did all this go when Alka was getting married... it was very clear from day one that Rohan's dad was not happy with the alliance and like Minty left no occasion to insult the family, in fact it was clear that even Aastha didn't like Alka either, so why didn't Shastri call off that marriage?
I understand comparing the two situations isn't right as there was no intense hatred with Alka's case as it is with Anu and Minty, however, Alka's case did get severe to the extent that she was going to get divorced all because of the two people, Shastri knew did not like her, so if he could give Alka and Rohan's marriage a chance, why not AnuRaj - I mean unlike Alka-Rohan, AnuRaj actually love one another so deeply. 😕
