Ekta Kapoor puts the long running rumors of Kareena Kapoor Khan playing the role of Azharuddin's Ex Wife Sangeeta Bijlani in Emraan Hashmi starrer Mohd. Azharuddin BIOPIC to rest.

There have been news going around since a long time that Kareena Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of Sangeeta Bijlani in Kunal Deshmukh's biopic on Mohammad Azharuddin. The news took the people in trade by shock as these are not the kind of role Kareena is known to play on the big screen.

However, while interacting with a leading daily, Ekta Kapoor cleared the rumors by saying-

"We have never approached Kareena Kapoor Khan to play the role of Sangeeta Bijlani in Mohammad Azharuddin Biopic."

The shoot for the film is expected to start soon and Emraan is training rigorously for his role in the film. In fact the actor is going to be trained by controversial cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin himself. The movie is going to be release on Dolby Atmos to give the audiences an enhanced cinematic fe

LOL Someone from her own production house didn't deny her being approached and went sour grapes later saying they were ''looking for a younger actress'',

Plus in the same interview where ekie baby says that Kareena wasn't approached, she says she approached sangeeta to play herself. Sangeeta is 50+... how does that fit the bill for a younger actress.

Ekta can keep fuming coz bebo ain't doing it but she should realise that Kareena is the reason this project hit the news at all.
