In my opinion ( which may get trashed by many) Ranbir Kapoor is a non actor who has risen to the top purely because of the family. It is a case very much like Rahul Baba ... a pity that in both fields that are the favourite past time of us Indians dynasty rules😒 Neither of these kids have inherited the mettle from their illustrious predecessors.

So it is very difficult to assess RK's contribution to these biopics. The genre itself is eking towards an overdose and Ranbir does not have the acting skills to translate on screen a maverick genius like Kishore Kumar's life .

He may fit the bill for Hirani's effort to eulogise Sanjay Dutt but let him not reduce Kishore Kumar's impact on Hindi cinema.

I agree its an overdose the narrative of biopics are same first they begin with background, struggle then success then downfall then struggle again in btween tragedies of personal life. Leaving Sanjay's court cases and Kishoreda's music the narrative is same with multiple affairs and marriages.

i am not a fan of actors repeating genres but i will watch it.

my preference would be ranbir doing sanju biopic and ranveer doing kishore da.. i think two will suit for those roles...but both will be done by ranbir anyway...

as long as rk doesn't do another movie with anurag basu after that, i will be happy..i want him to work with other directors in different genre..thrillers, action, negative...

but overall, too many biopics coming up.. irritating 🥱
