When he was conning and when he tells her the truth... in both cases he knows what he is doing and what the result of it all will be and how wrong he is. He doesn't deny the wrong-ness (there should be a word like this 😛) of it all to himself. But with Zaki there was a sense of duplicity ... I am hoping this was a deliberate angle employed by the writers and not a case of poor writing, acting or direction. The whole sense of urgency to his proposal. Since he has no deal to worry about why the rush. Why not let his Jahanara heal and recover and then woo and propose.
Thanks Jun...😊...
Yes...Sahirs reasons were clear and if he was wrong he was also honest in accepting all his wrongs!
However Zaki...first of all...tried to cover up his role...tried to distract Arzoo whenever she spoke about Sahir to him...and also tried to rush things along so that he would be married to Arzoo by the time anyone realised anything!
Basically he was guilty of misusing her total trust in him...and his words that he only wanted to be a god friend and stand by her,..he was using the very words to subtly pressurise her...!
And I agree...he himself said he wanted to only be a friend and would wait a lifetime them why the repeated proposals,,.why the backhanded gesture of going to Nausheen...not what a friend would do!
