Sahir saw what Zaki was doing alright!
He knew that Zaki was pushing Arzoo to say yes while she was still in a vulnerable state after knowing his truth and being attacked by the cab driver..
He could see that Zaki was pushing Arzoo and crowding her by repeatedly proposing and following her around everytime and saying he only wanted to be her friend although he loved her!
He wasn't giving her time to clear her mind...to reflect...to ask any questions that might help her get clarity on tbe situation!
Zaki wanted to possess Arzoo before she realized what he was doing...and by pressurising her so subtly he was inching towards his goal..
And Sahir had to counter him!
Because what Zaki was doing was a saazish...albeit calling it love! And Sahir knew that Arzoo would regret this decision later,...when she was out of the haze she was in currently!
That's why in order to counter Zakis saazish he had no choice but to do what he did!And so he did it!
And I must say...what attitude in that scene when Zaki came looking for answers and to throw some taunts! What a somersault! HC...
