So this is a post I've been meaning to write for a while now. Let me start off by saying that when the show started, with the airplane episodes and the mirchi task, I was completely against Karishma and wanted her out within the first weeks. As the show progressed, I saw different sides of her. She would always go overboard in tasks - throwing water, crashing into people, being rude - but she was completing the task to the best of her abilities. She would always remain with her friend circle - but that showed her loyal side. She would always take care of the housemates, making food for them, helping them with their hair style and lending them clothes and what not.
Now, let me say this. I was anti-Karishma for the majority of the season and I support Gautam fully, but when looking at recent evens now, with the challengers in the house, I feel that Karishma is not deserving of all the hate she gets. Yes, she's arrogant and stubborn, but who isn't? She is obsessive about her make up, but there are flaws in everybody. So why is everybody bashing her? Pritam gave a gaali, Ali made nasty comments, Sambhavna threw her sandal, Gautam is noncooperative, Dimply instigates and pokes... everybody has flaws.
I just think that Karishma Tanna has come a long way and after seeing her for this long, I think she can be deserving of the trophy. It's not like she shouldn't be able to win at all, because she has a strong personality and she has never been fake or done something solely for footage. She is one of the boldest and strongest contenders remaining in the house, and I've started looking up at her somehow.
And so I just decided to make this post to honour whatever she has been so far in the show and to bring out a few of her positives when people are always pointing out the negatives. 😊
