And this scene not only left me breathless, but left behind this strange, broken ache inside of me, one that made me want to pull Khushi into a warm, long hug and never let her go. You make me feel, and I tell you this over and over again but god, you do.

I'm sorry, but I won't be able to pick a line this time. I'll have to copy the entire goddamned scene that brings fresh tears to my eyes every time I read it, makes me wish that Death didn't have a no warranty, no return policy, that NK could come back and give her those toe curling, knee buckling kisses that make her lean in for more instead of that cold, lifeless glass.

Hell. I've got tears in my eyes again. Never ever has an author made me wish so deeply for someone, someone that isn't even the main character! I'm not supposed to want NK to be with Khushi, but damnit I do.

This was achingly beautiful, that made my eyes prickle and my throat close and even then I went back to read it again.

I can't decide if I love you for that or hate you for it. You outdid yourself.
