Amrita assures Trisha that she'll remain safe while working to catch Prateek's murderer, along with Kabir. Amrita receives the letter which Kushan wrote to her pretending to be her well wisher. It advises her to appoint Sonali as the new Joint MD.
She goes to the office & meets with Kabir there & shows him the new letter. Sonali calls Amrita to congratulate her & praises her for being the first female CEO of the Swaika company. Amrita thanks her & offers her the position of MD. Sonali can't believe that her wish is coming true. She thanks her & accepts the position. Amrita ends the call. Kabir encourages Amrita to follow whatever the well wisher wants as that'll make it easier to catch him. He concludes that he's being friendly with Amrita as he's planning to use her against someone.
Trisha goes to the hospital for a follow up. She's absolutely fine but still can't recall who shot her. Aditya tells her not to panic. Trisha thanks him for supporting her throughout her recovery. Another doctor comes in & tells her that her brain scan shows a spot (clot) on the right lobe which controls her memory & recall process. The doctor tells her to relax as this won't interfere in daily functioning.
Lavanya calls Sonali & enquires how Amrita came to know about her wish to become the MD. She accuses Sonali for joining hands with Amrita. Sonali refutes from her claims & tells her to stop taking out her frustration on her.
Kabir and his team found footprints outside the window of Prateek's bedroom at the resort, where he was found murdered. But Kabir is hiding this information from his seniors & media as he's hoping the murderer would remain relaxed till the reports come back. He's hoping these reports can give an approximate idea about the murderer's height, weight & other such features.
Aditya takes Trisha out for lunch. He orders milkshakes, jalebis & rabdi and fondly feeds her jalebis. Aditya enquires if she too loves him, likes he does. Trisha tries to change the topic. A hawker is selling Lord Ganesha's idols nearby. Trisha goes to her & picks one. She tells Aditya that this is going to be a gift for Amrita since she's surrounded by so many problems these days & only "vighanaharta" (Lord Ganesha) can help her. Aditya folds his hands & prays to God to help him too. Trisha teases him & says that it looks like he's not praying from his heart.
Kabir visits Swaika house to collect Prateek's laptop, camera, pen drives & other devices through which he can find any clues. He also advises Amrita to do something which will jeopardize her CEO position. His plan is to disturb the well wisher & reach out to help Amrita when she gets into trouble. Amrita asks what she can do. Kabir replies that she has to take a decision where the board of directors would be miffed with her like signing up for a bad project.
Amrita collects Prateek's items & personal belongings from the bedroom. She comes across his diary in which he writes about his dream project. He wanted to construct an education mall (university).
At the Grewal house, Meghan gets ready & wears a dress similar to Trisha. She imagines as if Aditya would propose to her when he sees her.
Sonali reaches the Swaika office & informs Gaurav that she's been made the MD. Gaurav says that it must be the product of her plotting & scheming.
Lavanya recalls that Kushan had seen her locking the safe & keeping the keys nearby. She grows suspicious & feels that Kushan is just pretending to be insane, but quickly rejects the idea as Kushan laughs loudly & claps when she slips on the floor.
Kabir opens up Prateek's laptop but it's locked with a password. Kabir enquires from Amrita about the possible password combinations. They are able to access it with "LoveYouAmy". Amrita realizes how much Prateek loved her. Kabir is unable to find anything important from Prateek's documents' folder. There's a locked folder & Kabir would have to get his technician to come in & help him open that (Prateek had Jahnavi's pictures in that folder & that's why it's locked). As he gets up to leave, Amrita gives him Prateek's diary & tells him about his dream project which the board members had previously rejected. Kabir is suddenly struck with this idea of Amrita proposing this university project in front of the Board & how they'd be upset with her for wasting resources. This will force the well wisher to help Amrita out, & Kabir can catch him then.
Trisha visits the office to meet with Amrita as she has to gift her the idol. The receptionist informs her that Amrita has strictly asked her not to disturb her as she's with Kabir. She hears other staff gossiping about Kabir & Amrita & how they are spending a lot of time together. Trisha is upset hearing this & leaves from there.
The next morning, Amrita purchases a piece of land worth 150Crores for Prateek's university project. The news reaches Lavanya via Sonali & she's angered with Amrita's amateurish decision. She recalls that this project was refused by the board since Prateek couldn't come up with an apt architectural design. Only Kushan & Gaurav were in favor of this project. Kushan saw this as a stepping stone in his career (as an architect) & worked on the designs separately, but the Board members shelved the project before his designs reached Prateek. Lavanya starts to wonder if Kushan planned the reopening of this project so as to seek revenge from her. She makes a phone call to Sonali, making sure Kushan hears it. She informs Sonali that Amrita won't be able to come up with suitable architectural designs by morning & the Board members can force her to resign on that basis, for misusing company funds. Kushan overhears this & decides to save Amrita & trap Lavanya instead.
