Toi - Hiran to get new look as show takes 9 year leap

TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will take a time leap of nine years in March.

All the child artistes on the show will grow up to become teenagers, and auditions are on to cast the younger generation. Hina Khan (Akshara) and Karan Mehra (Naitik) will sport a new look, which is being kept a closely guarded secret.

Speculations were rife about a change in the time slot for the show, which will complete six years in a few days. However, we have been informed that it will continue to air in its original slot. Producer Rajan Shahi and Hina, however, didn't revert to our text message.

Just got one thing to say I will miss shivansh like crazy

I hope.. I guess there's a teensy weensy possibility but I don't know why it doesn't feel like just a rumour.

But idk I'm really confused about how I feel about this leap.. Only time will tell how it shapes up.

they would hav ended show rather than ending with budhe naksh..common hina karan playing parents of 17 year oldas naksh is presently 7-8...
Show will hav huge loss of couple fans bec obviously naksh as couple their moments will not be expected as it would be weired with such old couple...kash kash they have ended on loving young couple than this spoiling everything..fir duggu ki shadi uske bache fir karan hina dada-dadi...4 year leap was beautiful bec it had best emotional cute romantic scenes of naksh a new wave but 9 years my god everytime its not same and this much leap andyoung actors playing old hav never benefitted the show..i dnt see any popular show with such weired theories ye toh kyunki ke zamane me hota tha
but its ok if its very ok with most of fans

I guess we shouldn't judge the leap before it comes.. And yes article maybe untrue as well because cvs are hiding it.. Well anyway YR's story is different from less of the long running shows.. It's a story about a couple falling in love after arranged marriage the concept isn't really wearing off.. I think cvs don't have much left to show in the story.
I felt leap was much needed! And now we can just wait and see

there is nothing to judge coz it's obvious that if the news comes true it will ruin the show. 9 years is nearly a decade and that is longgg time.. They have to change everything. Naksh have to look 10-15 years older then their age. They have to behave like parents of a teenager. It will turn into a typical ekta kapoor show where they take 10/15 years of leap then the 20/25 years old lead actors plays the role of 50/55 years. Ewww just thinking of this making me feel sick 🤢 🤢

I am actually pretty excited about this 9 years leap. Because YRKKH is a show about every phase of life. I think now they will also focus on sibling bonding as well as how a couple handles teenagers. I am excited about how they show a boundary between a brother and sister especially when she comes of age.

I am too hope Naksh have a very modern look and I wish their bedroom changed and so is that sofa plzzz a remodel of the house is needed
