By default, can Anuskha win the best actress award over Peecee?

😉 Anuskha has done a stellar job in PK. Now that it will be the biggest hit of 2014 (looking likely), will the amazing actress finally get her due and win all the awards? And if 2015 is any indication, she could win it 2 years in a row if Bombay Velvet does well. Peecee was great in Mary Kom, but we all know how how Indian awards work. Please share your thoughts. 👏

Based on what I have seen so far this year my top spots are

1) Kangana Ranaut - Queen

2) Rani Mukherji - Mardani

3) Anushka - PK

4) PC - Mary Kom

5) Vidya Balan - Bobby Jasoos

Then why didn't Kareena get it over Vidya in 2009 for 3 Idiots?

or Priyanka for Barfi over Vidya in 2012?

Anuskha had a meaty role in PK. And Priyanka's Mary Kom underperformed.

We can only assume since Indian awards are rigged. Vidya Balan was an exception.

Her performances were awesome and she was exceptional! 😊

Kangana's performance was most praised female performance of the year. Her film saw best trending in weekly collections since the time of Gadar. PK gained Anushka positive reviews but nothing of award winning. And even Anu said it in her interview. Kangana's Queen ran for few months. Screen counts increased in India post it's first weekend. The film gained Kangana appreciation globally. No chance of Anu or PC winning.
