I want to believe, that though the drops of rain

Revived those wounds;

You are there, to heal my pain

I want to believe,that the beautiful moon

The one that you speak to;

Will not fade away soon

I want to believe,not what my mind does say

But like the others;

You wont walk away

I want to believe,that I dont have to explain

Why I am broken,that without words;

You can understand my pain

I want to believe,that my self imposed exile

Can only be broken

By your beautiful smile

I want to believe,that the darkest hour

Has now passed

And dawn approaches,real fast

I want to believe,the monster in me is slain

That after this battle;

I can finally love again

But I know I have wronged you

And you may never forgive

Please know though,that I am bound by my past

So this wretched life, I still live.

this for reason reminded me of the beauty n the beast scenario...🤔

Sahir is just like that beast in movie...who had a rough exterior n he cocooned his love n soft side in himself which can only be brought out by some1's true love n affection
