Yea I think they really need to renovate the show, but honestly, without Salman khan the show will take time to recover. Unless they pick somebody like SRK, Akshay, BIG B, etc they won't be able to recover TRP.

There's a strong buzz that Farah Khan, the director of Happy New Year, is ready to take over as the host of Bigg Boss 8' from January onward.

The makers of the show are upbeat about the rising TRPs and are said to be thinking of extending Bigg Boss 8' by a month. But there's a catch. The current host Salman Khan's contract expires in January after which he will get busy shooting for the next schedule of director Kabir Khan's film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

So the makers have reportedly approached Farah Khan to host the last segment of the show that is now likely to last till February 2015.

Though there's no confirmation yet from Farah Khan, it's believed that she has given her nod.

The makers had also approached Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor to take over the mantle of the host from Salman Khan, but neither of them came aboard.

Farah Khan and Salman Khan are on very friendly terms. He had even made a song appearance in her film Tees Maar Khan.

Meh. Still Arshad Warsi was the best host for BB. Such a shame they don't bring him back

Without Salman BB is Nothing . Chalo Now I don't have to tolerate BB for Salman . I only watched it for Salman And Now when He will not be there , It's Bye from my side as well.Noone will be able to replace Salman as BB Host . He is the Soul of the show .
