Pairon mein atki atit ki bediyan chhutati hi nahi aur after Zaki's confession aane wala kal bhi dum todne laga hai. Sahir's condition is like zinda mur raha hun mein har ek pal. He has no friends, mentor or guide. No outlet to share his grief. Had he someone to share it, uska boz dil per itna nahin hota. No on to tell him that to move ahead in life, to welcome tomorrow, he will have to learn to say goodbye to his past. He has held on to his grief for so long that it has become life for him now. He knows not any other way to lead life. He is afraid to step away from the darkness of his life. The little ray of sunshine that managed to cut through the darkness seems to be on its way out fading taking with it all the warmth it brought leaving behind the familiar bitter cold of loneliness. Arzoo has not an iota of inkling of what Sahir is suffering. Not her fault since Sahir has always pushed away her concern, her friendship behaving consistently inconsistent.

What I like about this serial is that all the characters are flawed. No one is above reproach. As you say, they all have their preconceived notions, biases, experiences. They are not always able to draw correct inferences, behave correct, logically or morally. As a result they suffer the consequences of their actions.
