We have too many singing competitions going on..

Earlier good singers wre produced by these competitions…

For example: Sunidhi Chauhan...

To name few Competitions such as Indian idol, Saregamapa, Amul

Voice of India, Fame Gurukul, Fame X…..

Last Indian Idol was won by Sandeep Acharya…

Last Saregegamapa was won by Debojit..

Fame Gurukul was won by Qazi Touqeer & Rooprekha..

Fame X won by Rehan Khan…

The first Indian Idol ….Abhijeet Sawant, runner up Amit Sana…

We are qute familiar with these names….lekin where are they now.

They were selected in top 11 by famous personalities…who have

Immence knowledge abt music…

Lekin still one question comes up in mind where they are now in

industry…

They released there private albums & now doing stage

performances…

Is this what people selected them for???

So, we would like to ask few questions…

Does this singing competions is more abt money fame then Quality?

Can any Singer from this Current Competitions may become a good

Play back Singer? if Yes then who?

WELL.. THIS QUESTION IS RAISED SO MANY TIMES... THAT WHERE ARE THEY?? YES THEY ARE DOING A LOT OF SHOWS..
WELL FROM IDOL 1, ABHIJEET HAS RELEASED 2 ALBUMS.. HAS SUNG IN SOME MOVIESAME WITH AMIT, HE HAS RELEASED ONE ALBUM HAS RECENTLY SUNG IN DELHI HEIGHTSTHEN RAHUL VAIDYA.. HAS RELEASED ONE ALBUM.. ABOUT TO RELEASE 2ND ONE.. HAS SUNG IN 2 3 MOVIES.. AND ALSO REGIONAL MOVIES
THEN PRAJAKTA SHUKRE.. HAS DONE ONE ALBUM WITH SONY BMG, HAS SUNG IN SHADI NO.1,JAANEMAN, AND THE TITLE SONG OF KAAJAL SERIAL.. AND SO MANY REGIONAL MOVIES...
DONT KNOW BOUT SANDEEP ACHARYA,.... HE IS DOING SHOWS I GUESS AND OF COURSE SONY RELEASED HIS ALBUM AS HE WAS THE WINNER..I GUESS KARUNYA IS DOING WORK IN SOUTH VERY NICELY..
THATS IT.. I DONT KNOW BOUT ANYONE ELSE..
AND I THINK WE SHOULD GIVE THEM SOME MORE TIME TO GET ESTABLISHED.. IT TAKES TIME... ITS REALLY NOT EASY TO GET A SONG FOR A MOVIE SO EASILY.. I THINK SO...

Defintly its more abt fame and TRPS bec in the end, dats what producers and television ppl r instrested in, but to get fame and money, dey need qualiy also! 😳

I think many of dem can but at the end of the days, its all upto destiny! 😳

ya u r rtie.....all of dem dusnt deserve 2 b d winners..forinstance karunya was a much better singer dan sandeep....i can sya he won only for his looks(no offence meant sandeep fans.)but its vry disappointin....dey r obviously not of d limit dey must b as bcoz dey won such competetions...n dey shud hav dun atleast 1 film by now but mst dem havent...y????coz dey r not d bst...listeners wnts d bst 4 paly bak singin...n dey r not of limit....n u r rite...dese competetions r more abt fame n money rather dan quality

well da aim of da chennel is 2 grab moneyyyyyy,but still dey r givin chance 2 newcomers which is veryy guddd...........

But no channel can establish a singer in music industry.the singer has 2 struggle jusss like any other new one but da difference is people know dem and even sum md know dem,which makes der struggle a bit more easier.

A new singer has 2 strugle a lot in mumbai 4 his bred n butter,but these contestants have stage shows and other shows arranged by da channel which makes deir living much easier

And all these singers cant be playback singers either.I think most of dem will remain as pop singers.Saregamapa contestents r da best wen compared wid others.Their standard of singing is really highhhh

abhi,rahul,amit,antara,amey,amitpaul,emon,nihira,vinit,hemac handra,karunya,amanat,aneek,mussarat,poonam,ishmeet,abhas... ............all these r realllyyyyyy very gud,and can do well in playback...

wellllllll........Kanrunya is doing really well in south.He has already worked wid all da music directors in A.P.He is launching his own album and currently he is hosting saregamapa little champs in ZEE TELUGU.
Hemachandra is busy wid playback and shows.He is working wid shankar-ehsaan-loy.

sumedha of SRGMP has already sung 4 songs
mauli has done 2 apart 4m lara dattas movie
amanat is singing

soooooo i think most of dem r going 2 do welllllll............. 👏

this is the curse of the reality tv show... 😕

In the uk its the same ppl are created over night as stars by these show and then disappear some where...

Either way many of them who are still around and are doing great and are getting to reach there dreams ...remember if you work hard then you can be where you want to be...

I think Nihira of Saregamapa Challenge 2005 is doing REALLY well, and I'm sure she'll go much further in this industry. Hemachandra is also doing well with Telugu songs. Even though I am not that fond of Abhijeet Sawant, he is doing very well. About the rest, they're not doing well at all.

Of all, I see Nihira and Hema going very far in their lives because of their unique voices and talent.
