Hi everyone,

This topic has been opened for the username change time span, so let's keep it to that and not take discussions to another topic.

Coming to the query itself, the time span has been limited to one change per year by the admin so that members don't change their username too frequently and cause a chaos in the website. There is a need of consistency which ought to be kept up, hence the decision.

Can there at least be a reduction in the time span? I mean, 6 months is more than enough. Even 8 months... 1 year is so long... I get that you guys want to keep a consistency but if you guys reduce the time span a bit, I don't think it will matter much.. Its not like you are allowing people to change their username on a monthly or daily basis which may cause chaos ... 6 months will allow a maximum of 2 name changes a year which is not too bad... 1 year is very long...
