Whoever says the Mahabharata is an old epic and doesn't relate to today's times, well, has lost touch with reality. Saarthi, the popular afternoon show on Star Plus, which is inspired from this mythological text, proves all the cynics wrong. This family saga's TRP ratings are said to have shot up like crazy, and the serial has managed nominations for its actors in as many as 10 categories in the Star Parivaar awards. Arjun Goyanka aka Karan Grover has been nominated for yogya damad and favourite devar while Bhoomika is competing for the place of the yogya bahu. Rumours are Balaji's 'K' serials gang maybe in for a shock this time as Indian view ers are known to stick to their roots!
