Teji is still not convinced...
Teji: tum toh jaanthe the ki ye galat hai?
He is not at all happy with what Maan did?
Maan: haan
Maan too knows that somewhere he has done something wrong...
That's why he couldn't run away after leaving Geet just as Geet says...
He is also afraid that he might also be responsible for all this...
Maan: tummari takleef ko mein samaj saktha hoon, tum apne behen ki future ko lekhe pareshaan ho, I'll take her responsibility
Teji is confused...ye kehna kya chahatha hai?
Pehle kehtha ki Geet se uska koi lena dena nahi hai, aur Geet ko apna ghar wapas chodne aaya hai, aur ab kehtha ki Geet ab usske zamedari hai?
Maan: I mean, I'll secure her future, I'll deposit a sum in her name, I mean, that will take care of her future, you need not worry about her
Teji: Khuranaji, paison se aap humme kareedh nahi sakthe
Teji's self esteem is hurt...
Maan too thinks he is wrong...
Maan: mera matlab woh nahi tha, jaise bhi Geet ko aage padke apne pairon pe kade hona hoga, tabhi toh woh apni marzi se jee sakthi, aur usske padaye ke liye paison ki zaroort padegi, haina?
Teji knows that money too matters...if they have the luxury to send their girls to college then they won't be thinking them as a burden...
Sab ko lagega ki Geet ko koi lottery lag gayi...
Her first husband paid her a huge sum to abandon her...poor Geet, then they will try to get her married off for the second time...
And there will be a huge demand for Geet, her money...
But if at all they know that Geet has got money then boys will offer to marry her money...
Here no one would let her presume her studies, they will talk rubbish and make her sit in a corner and keep tag her as unfortunate...
Already she has a ta g that she is unlucky ...her birth itself is bad omen snatching her mother's life...
It's hard for her survive amongst these foolish people and their false beliefs...
They will definitely make things worse and it's not as easy as Maan thinks...
Paise dedo, problem solved...
Teji: paison se Geet ke problem aur badjayega
Maan: what? tum logon ka problems katam hi nahi hothe hai kya?
Teji: ye toh tumne hi shuru kiya haina? Aaise paison dekhe tum bhaag nahi sakhte
Maan wonders what happened to Teji now, he was the one who wanted Maan to go away from Geet's life...
Teji: kya dekhthe ho? galthi toh tumse hi hui haina? Aakhir tumne kya sochke Geet se shadhi ki?
Maan had to justify his act atleast to Teji...who is demanding an explanation...
Maan: woh meinne abhi abhi bathaya tha ki uss din kya hua, mujhe toh laga tummari behen kudh kushi karne jaa rahi hai, issiliye toh meinne usske jaan bachane ki koshish ki, tum hothe toh tum bhi wahi karthe, haina?
Teji: woh sab toh teek hai, tumne shadhi ko rokha, par phir tum ne hi usse shadhi kyun ki?
Ye toh Maan bhi nahi jaantha ki uss waqt Maan ko kya ho gaya tha?
He had become too emotional and lost his common sense...
Maan: meinne socha ki aaise ek drama karke Geet ke zindagi barbad hone se bacha saktha
Teji: ye kaisi insaaf hai, ab toh meri behen ki zindagi uss kanine ki haath se barbad hone ke jagah tummre haath se barbad ho gayi, haina?
Maan didn't think that way...
Maan: tum kya kehna chathe ho? ab tum jaldhi bathao mujhe kya karna hai, ya phir tum apne pariwaar ke saath beitke faisla karo aur mujhe bhi bathado ki mein tummari behen ko kaise iss musibat se bahar nikhal saktha, mein Geet ko madat karna chahtha hoon, mein nahi chahtha ki mere wajhe se kissi ki zindagi mein koi bhi pareshaani ho, mujhe aaj jaise bhi wapas jaana hai, yahan rehtha toh mein sach mein pagal ho jaatha
Maan doesn't have the time, he has to return to KC...
Ab yahan beitkke Teji ke saath sochne ke liye Maan yahan nahi aaya hai...
He has come to leave Geet and his job is done...
Now he can't wait a minute longer, he is desperate to leave...
Teji: mujhe toh kuch bhi samaj mein nahi aatha
Maan: ab toh tumme hi tummare gharwalon ko samjaana hoga
Taji: par sab ko lagtha hai ki ab Geet ki shadhi ho gayi hai, tere saath
Maan: it's against the laws, it's not a marriage, it's a tamasha
Teji: lekhin ye log apne aap ke kanoon banathe haina?
Maan: kya tum logon ke khanoon ko manthe ho?
Teji will never accept this stupidity...
Teji: nahi, mein iss bakwaas ko nahi mantha
Maan: ye sab toh mujhe patha nahi, ab Geet tummari zamedari hai, mein toh jaa raha hoon
Teji: tum bhi chale jaathe toh Geet ka kya hoga?
Maan: ussko toh tum hi sambal sakthe ho
Teji: apne garwalon ko toh mein sambal saktha, par uss kamine ka koi barosa nahi, woh kabhi bhi Geet ko phir se bhejdega, aur ye log usse darthe hai, mein bhi dus din mein wapas jaa raha hoon, Geet ka yahan rehna teek nahi hoga
Maan can't imagine leaving Geet with this circus troop without Teji...
Maan is also worried about Geet...he knows all about her father...
Even Dadi had told about him...Maan knows that Tejii is right...
He can't leave Geet here like that and go home happily...Geet ko yahan chodke Maan chain se kaise jeeyega?
Maan: tum yahan nahi rehthe?
Teji: tujhe kya lagtha? Mein yahan rehtha toh kisski himmat hogi Geet ko ghar se lejaane ki? Mein toh duty pe tha, aur ab meri chutti bhi katam hone wali hai
Maan: toh tum chale jaooge?
Maan is really worried...
Teji: ab toh tum hi Geet ki madat kar sakthe ho
Maan: what? nahi nahi, mujhe tere gaav ke ajeeb rules samaj mein nahi aathe, mein koi aur musibat mein fasna nahi chahtha
Teji: bas ek bar aur Geet ki madat karlo, warna Geet ke liye tumne jo bhi kiya hai sab barbad ho jayega
Maan thinks again...how can he afford to take the risk? Geet is somehow his responsiblity now...
Maan: par mein kaise usski madat kar saktha?
Teji: tumne abhi abhi kaha ki tum Geet ke padayi ke madat karna chahathe ho
Maan: haan, lekhin tumne toh paison lene se inkaar kardiya haina? Ab mein kya kar saktha?
Teji: paise se kuch nahi badalne wala, tum Geet ko yahan se lekhe jao, tummare saath
Maan: what? Geet ko mere saath rakhna hai toh mein ussko yahan kyun lekhe aatha? Tum bhi toh inke tarah pagal toh nahi ho gaye ho?
Teji: tumme bas Geet ko apne saath delhi lekhe jaana hai, aur ussko kissi bhi achche college mein admit karwana hai, pjir 3 saal mein Geet apne pheron mein kade ho jayegi toh koi uska kuch nahi bigad saktha
Maan ko bhi yahi sahi lagtha...par Geet ...
Maan: Geet nahi manegi
Teji: mein Geet ko samjaatha hoon
Teji calls Geet...
Geet: veerji aapne ussko sabak sikaya?
Geet looks at Maan and is disappointed...he is standing safe and sound?
Maan stares her...
Teji: Geet humne faisla kiya hai ki tum Maanji ke saath wapas jaoge
Geet is shocked...: kya? aaise nahi ho saktha, veerji aap bhi ab mujhe ek bhoj samajthe haina?
Geet is hurt...she now feels left alone in this world...
Tears drop from her eyes which is unusual...
Maan has never seen her cry even at theworst times...
But now he can easily relate to her emotions...b'coz he knows what it is like to be alone without anyone in your life...some one to take care of you, some one who's always there to lend a hand when you need support...
Maan just wants to say that Geet is not alone, he is here for her...
He wants to wipe off those tears and say that " tum akhele nahi ho Geet, mein hoon tummare saath, chahe taqdeer ne mujhe akhela jo kardiya par mein tumme akhela nahi hone doonga"
Teji wipes her tears off and hugs her to console her...
Maan is happy that atleast she has got a bhai, just like Vicky...
Teji: Geet, tumne aaise kaise sochliya? Tum meri choti behen ho, aur aaj se baath tum kabhi mat sochna ki tum akheli ho, tummare saath tummare bade bhai hai, Tejinder Singh
Teji says it loud so as to warn Maan...tum mere bahen se dhoor hi rehna...
Maan just likes his protectiveness and Geet feels secure now...
How Maan misses Vicky?
He is always reminded of Vicky...
Teji: Geet, ye tumme Delhi lekhe jayega aur kissi achche college mein tummara admission karwadega, mein munshiji se baat kartha hoon, tum Pinky ke saath usske ghar mein reha sakthi ho,tum fikar mat karo, agle bar jab mein chutti mein aatha mein tumse milne aatha hoon, aur koi bhi pareshaani hai toh tum Maan se baat kar sakthi ho, ye tummara madat karega
Geet looks at Maan...ye?
Ye mere madat karenge? Mere pareshaani toh yahi haina? Ab mein veerji ko kaise samjaoon?
Magar Geet is happy that she has got company, Pinky, and also she need not stay at KM, she will be staying in Pinky's house...that would be great...ab koi problem nahi...
Teji: ab toh tum kush haina Geet?
Geet: teek hai veerji, jaise aapki marzi
Maan is somehow happy that Geet is coming back with him...
Geet also likes this plan...she can join college and get a degree and a good job in Delhi itself...
Then she need not depend on anyone...and no one can dictate her terms...
She would love to go to Delhi, she thinks that she has more opurtunities there...
She has lots of options, very good colleges...and they also respect women there...it's her belief that women are more independent in the cities, which is true to some extent...
Geet bids farewell to her family once again...they are so happy for Geet...she is going to her home...
They still think that Geet is going to her sasuraal...only Maan and Teji know the truth...
