Gul Khan

Sorry to say this, but Gul Khan being a Muslim herself has made a mockery of her own religion on Indian television. An individual who doesn't respect her own religion has proven today, that it's a joke. It's really sad how she has illustrated the muslim religion for TRPs.

I guess it's not only Gul Khan but many of the Indian soap PH do the similar thing with the marriage. If you know Ekta's Kasam se where one sister sits in the place other sister and gets married to the guy whom her sister is supposed to marry, in Choti bahu also similar thing happened and they were Hindu religion backdropped shows, people loved those serials and hence it is still inspiring many to go about the same way.

Actually they even did this in Saraswatichandra where Kusum was obsessed with marrying Saras, but he loved Kumud, and didnt want to marry Kusum. (Kumud's sister). But Kumud being the "Mahaan Devi" that she was, told Saras to marry her sister. However, HE was not ready to do so!

Utter disaster these soap makers and their so called dumb twists! Quite morally ambiguous actually, conning someone into marrying someone else? It's a terrible thing to do, and should be condemned, no matter WHO does it!

Hmmm never watched Choti Bahu but I did follow Kasam Se for little bit. If I'm remembering correctly didn't Jay find out during the wedding that the girl he's marrying is Bani not Piya. Cuz when he's putting magalsutra and sindoor on Bani, he sees the bride's face. Piya runs away on her own cuz she wants to be an actress or something( can't really remember lol) and Bani didn't have any other choice. But it all works out cuz Jay falls in love with Bani. So I think that was more like Sahil marriage (with real Sanam) cuz Aahil finds out during the ceremony that he's marrying Sanam not Nida.
But my only question is... Cuz I'm still confused how did Real Sanam and Aahil's nikaah became invalid in the first place( I don't recall them ever signing a 3 month contract. Why did that lawyer always come over to inquire in the initial days to make sure Sahil were in fact married and living as a married couple?

Seriously! the writers often take the viewer for granted
