Let's be real, Ahem never loved Gopi! How fake! If you truly love someone you don't just switch sides in seconds. If he really loved Gopi, he would have helped to sort out the difference between her and his mother, not add fire to the fuel by taking sides.
it's beyond the point of respecting but appears rather incestuous to me,

Come on, his so-called love has always seemed a little phony to me, he's hurt her thousand times over, ever since they got married, if you look deeply into it, he never really changed. Why can't Gopi just divorce him already? Would love to see her settle with a man who truly cares for her.

Well, I knew that all along that his love is fake. It is only some hormonal teenagers (who love the looks of the actor, who is quite handsome actually) and believe that this is the basis of a good character.

Ahem's love, or should I say lust, for Gopi is contigent on the opinions and whims of his mother rather than having trust on his wife.

Gopi should be better off getting divorserved and finding someone else for a life partner. I can't see why this show is called "Sathiya" in the first place.

I always believed that everyone should be allowed to express their views. For example, Gopi should have every right to disagree with her mother-in-law.

Also I understand that when a wife and husband take the seven rounds around the havan, it is both the wife and the husband who make the wedding vows, not just the wife or just the husband, but both.

It was really disgusting the way Kokila treated Gopi in todays episode. That really irked me big time. Gopi did the right thing by letting Jigar leave as Jigar felt he will go mental because of all the ruckus going on in the house and had Paridhi go along with Jigar as a wife and a husband should be together and support each other for better and for worse.

Kokila even stopped her own husband from speaking. What a rude and disrespectful bully! I feel like strangling her! Jigar only wanted to go away for a few days and Kokila acted like he was leaving for good! 😡

Why can't kokila understand that Gopi's intention can never be wrong?During meera's issue also Koki blamed Gopi unnecessarily n never apologized 2 Gopi, but Gopi 4gave her.Still why Koki is repeating her mistake?Did'nt she learn a lesson after meera's issue?
Ahem is the worst male lead of TV soaps. He was always a mummy's boy who never supported his wife.

Ahem loves his 'Mom', that's it. He has no mind of his own, anyway -- if Mom approves, he approves, if Mom snarls, he snarls. This Gopi is an ass. Less of the rona-dhona and more self-respect, please.

Why are all the so-called men in this serial such puppets? Only one even halfway tolerable is Jigar, and he's no less a mama's boy-- only his mama is less controlling (in fact, fairly spineless and wishy-washy. Why does Kokila rule that house when Hetal is the eldest bahu?)

I have watched early bits of this serial at a friend's and it was bad enough then. I happened to catch some over the past week, and it is atrocious. This Pari makes my skin crawl. Radha I want to smack hard when she's making those triumphant faces. Those stock 'reaction' shots, when everyone is shown with their mouths open and/or wide-eyed are hysterical. It's best value is in the amount of catty comments it invites.

Sorry if I offended anyone. Where is Rashi--she was some fun, at least.

... And my question is, has any husband loved his wife or just when it suits him. Ahem and Jigar show that they are not grown ups. Still tied to the apron strings (Kokila) or not grown up at all (me, me, me) Jigar. Even Chirag and Paragh are seen as islands - out on their own, single and solitary yet still enjoying the perks of a married life.

Anyone realise that Kokila's tirade about breaking the 'vows' she took when her son married Gopi is a way of including herself in the couple's wedding? All seemingly noble and progressive, as she was promising to help and support the daughter-in-law, but during THEIR marriage? A shrink would wonder, especially as her behaviour is regressive if she is ever opposed. Joint family is fine, if all want it--if someone wants to leave, it's not the end of the world. And while I don't like Gopi (taking women back 1 century at least), it is a bit unfair to blame her for supporting Pari when, apparently, Kokila refused to heed any warnings about the female earlier. At least Gopi has some justification, not because of her stupid nonsense about Jigar's 'stability', but in that Pari is married to Jigar and has rights in that house. If they don't dare to throw out Radha, why go after Paridhi? (Though I can't stand Paridhi and hope she vanishes before long.)

Yes, I noticed that. Kokila is just a control freak who wants to run other peoples lives. Why can't she just let others live? What a mean, self centred 🤬 ! She just wants to make everybody's lives a living Hell. As long as she is happy, that's all that matters to her. Kokila is a selfish, controlling narcissist bully. I hate her! 😡

For those who don't know what a narcissist is, a narcissist is someone who wants his or her way all the time and will go to any means to get it and will get angry and resort to abuse, threats etc if they don't get what they want.

i.e.: When Gopi opposed and went against Kokila, Kokila severed all ties with Gopi, thus leaving her alone and helpless. Or calling Paridhi "selfish" for standing by her man, which, in my opinion is childish name calling on the part of Kokila.

That is true. Ahem is an 🤬 for treating Gopi the way he does. Had it been the other way and Gopi mistreated Ahem like that, there would be an uproar! I can't stand people who side with the wrong person. Ahem deserves a tight slap for the way he treats Gopi.
