Ahem's love, or should I say lust, for Gopi is contigent on the opinions and whims of his mother rather than having trust on his wife.

Gopi should be better off getting divorserved and finding someone else for a life partner. I can't see why this show is called "Sathiya" in the first place.

For the longest time I thought "Saathiya" referred not to Jigar or Ahem but to the relationship between Rashi and Gopi. I think the storyline even backed me up for a while (the rakhi thing!!! oh my god!!!! we could have had it all!!!!!!), not to mention that the title card was always of the two of them, never them with their husbands.

I feel like now "Saathiya" is supposed to refer to Gopi's and Kokila's relationship (and the kids, maybe), especially considering the current track (though that's kind of a stretch). It's kinda neat, though, how Ahem has approximately no part in the title cards. That's one thing about the show that makes me happy. 😆

Gopi should teach a lesson to Ahem. Paridhi will become positive. Once she proves herself and wins Kokila's trust, then she (Kokila) will definitely realize that what Gopi said was right. She herself will apologize to Gopi. At that time, even Ahem will apologize. But Gopi should not forgive him easily this time. What does he think of himself? He thinks he can be rude and loving with Gopi at his convinenice...

Gopi should show her other side to ahem before accepting him again...

I totally agree with you. I hate the fact that me like Ahem treat their wives like garbage and expect everything to be alright like nothing ever happened.

Peace is not available in any shop. It has to come within. Whatever is the problem one should face it. You can solve the problem only by facing it.

Leaving the house is not a solution. Gopi sent Paridhi with Jigar and that angered Kokila and Ahem further. But Kokila does not have to take such an extreme step i.e. breaking the relations with her. Ahem said that because she sent Paridhi along with Jigar, she will not allow Jigar to come back and thats what was her plan. Her father had planned that way but it didn't happen.

Ahem's estimation about Paridhi was right but he could have balanced between his wife and mom rather than supporting his mom.

That is true. However, most of the Indian women are dedicated to their husbands. No matter however the men in India treat their wives, the wives are still with them.

In western countries, the wives will not tolerate this nonsense.

She will be better off if she divorces ahem. But she should take the pickle business in her hands. If anyone says that Gopi should find another match for herself, who according to you is right for her. As far as I know, Anurag wanted to marry Gopi but in my opinion Anurag is not fit for her. When he can leave his wife for Gopi, what will be the guarantee that he will be with her?

I feel Jigar should be the better match for her. Rashi died, Even Radha should get admitted in mental asylum so that it becomes easy for Jigar to get divorce. Then he and Gpoi should get married.

Why are all the so-called men in this serial such puppets? Only one even halfway tolerable is Jigar, and he's no less a mama's boy-- only his mama is less controlling (in fact, fairly spineless and wishy-washy. Why does Kokila rule that house when Hetal is the eldest bahu?)

I have watched early bits of this serial at a friend's and it was bad enough then. I happened to catch some over the past week, and it is atrocious. This Pari makes my skin crawl. Radha I want to smack hard when she's making those triumphant faces. Those stock 'reaction' shots, when everyone is shown with their mouths open and/or wide-eyed are hysterical. It's best value is in the amount of catty comments it invites.

Sorry if I offended anyone. Where is Rashi--she was some fun, at least.

👏👏👏 I just can't agree more.

Topi bahu!!! ROFL ROFL

I literally fell off my chair laughing, and my mom thought I had officially lost it.

Yup, Nazim can't acut well and Ahem-dikra is a puppet of his mother.

Oh, and women in India simply had no choice to leave such spineless men. They did not work, and hence the men were the only source of income for the family. However, now the situations ae changing, especially in urban India. Women too have careers and can support themselves. They will not take such crap from their husbands and will simply leave with thier children.
