Sharon was sitting on the bench of the park with a suitcase and a bag carrying her guitar. She had her headphones plugged in her ears playing the classic Hey Jude' by Beatles. In a normal situation she would have been shaking her head to and fro but right now the song was just breaking to spread some positivity within her keeping her off the edge.
After a long struggle in her mind she finally decided to take a step and left her home to fulfill her dream. She didn't really have any luxurious bank balance so whatever thousands she had in her purse she wasn't really willing to spend any part of it on a hotel room for a night so she preferred to spend the night on the bench.
"Eloped?" A youmg guy of around twenty five asked her eyeing her bag.
"Left" Sharon answered nonchalantly.
"Ohk!May I?" He asked in a polite manner pointing towards the bench.
"Well this isn't my private property" She said carelessly.
He chuckled and settled himself on the empty side of the bench comfortably.
"Guitar and all? You sing?" He asked looking impressed.
"People say they can listen to me all day." Sharon replied with pride in her voice.
"Aha. . .Can you sing something for me? I wouldn't mind to listen" He said with a faded smile playing on his lips.
"But I will definitely mind singing to a stranger" Sharon replied arrogantly.
"Stranger??? Hmm . . .Fair Point! Hi! Swayam Shekhawat!!!I own that pub across the street." He answered pointing towards his Pub.
Sharon looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"Don't try this with me. . .Ohk? I know people like You" Sharon said rudely.
Swayam rolled his eyes at her. Beauty with such crisp attitude. . .Interesting combo!!! He thought to himself.
"Cool Lady!!!Burger?"
She looked at him and then at the burger in his hand and she realized that her stomach had been growling since quite a while.
"No thanks" Sharon said and averted her gaze from him.
"Umm. . .I can hear those growling sounds!!!" Swaaym said pressing his lips.
Shron realized she hadn't eaten anything since last night and was really hungry. Swayam forwarded the burger to her and she hesitantly took it. They sat in silence gazing the stars.
"Thanks" Sharon said softly and he looked at her flashing his smile.
"My name is Sharon"
"Wow. . .Nice name"
"So now we know each other, right? So now can you sing, pretty please?" Swayam pleaded making a cute face.
Sharon smiled and took her guitar out and sang
I have been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I have kissed your lips
A thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello. . .Is it me you looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're all I ever wanted
And my arms are open wide
cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much
I love You. . .
Swayam was lost in her eyes, her lips. . .He was not able to think anything else except her. Sharon stopped and looked deeper in his eyes. His eyes appeared like a mirror to his soul. . .Pure,Calm , serene and Soothing. . .Just like her beautiful voice.
Sharon looked at him and the intensity in his eyes made her shudder and unable to hold it she averted her gaze from him. This made Swayam's heart flip abut he somehow gathered himself abd broke the ice.
"You really sing beautifully."He complimented her.
"Thanks. . .My boyfriend used to sing this to me." Sharon said dreamingly.
"Oh. . .You are in a relationship?" Swayam felt uneasy.
"No!Not anymore!"Sharon sighed as the past memories flashed through her mind.
"Hey would you like to roam the city with me?" Swayam asked changing the topic.
"Hey just because I told you I am not in a relationship . . .Doesn't mean you have got a chance, Got it?"Sharon said pointing her finger on him.
"Yes Ma'am" Swayam said saluting her
Sharon broke into a smile looking at him.
"Lets go and hit the road." Swayam picked up her suitcase and Sharon followed him.
Swayam went inside his pub to get his car keys and within five minutes they both were sitting in his '67 Cougar, A classic. Swayam pulled out and they both drove off aimlessly. They chatted, they laughed, they fought. It was the best drive Sharon had experienced in years.

Swayam and Sharon sat on the seashore. The water glittered under the shining silvery moon.
"If you don't mind me asking can I ask one thing?" Swayam broke the silence.
"Yes. . .You can" Sharon replied without looking at him.
"Why were you sitting there on the bench alone?"
"So that I can live my dream. . .I want to sing. . .Singing is my life. . .And the only way to repent what I did in the past." Sharon replied looking at the waves touching her bare feet and going back.
"You never really know what's coming. A small wave or a big one. All you can really do is hope that when it comes, you can surf over it, instead of drowning in its monstrosity." Swayam said looking in the nothingness of the sea.
"That's deep Mr. Shekhawat" Sharon said smiling.
"Well not my line. . .I read it somewhere."Swayam said laughing quietly.
"Have you ever drowned in chase of a dream?" Sharon asked silencing him.
"I don't believe in dreams Sharon. . .I have lost my reality once." Swayam said quietly.
Sharon looked at him and a past memory flooded in her eyes. She lowered her eyes and guilt filled her heart.
"You stopped composing music???" Sharon whispered choked with the past memories.
"I locked my music room the day you left me." Swayam said seriously still seeing in the nothingness trying to find something.
"I. . .i am sorry Swayam.. . .I didn't realize how selfish I was being from stopping you to live your dream. . .I was scared. . .Scared that I will lose you. . .The you which belongs to me. . .The you which I. . . I thought you will forget us when fame will touch you. . .I am sorry Swayam. . .I really am. ...I couldnt find a trace of you after that and the guilt ate me everyday. ...You lovedto hear me sing so I thought If I sing maybe one day I can reach you" Sharon broke down in front of him remembering how she had stopped her from going to Mumbai when he got a chance three years ago.
"Hey. ..Ssshhh Stop! Stop crying Sharon!t was my fault too. . .I couldn't assure you about my love. . .I couldn't assure you that my love will never change for you. . .That its impossible. . .I couldn't assure you that composing music was a dream and you were my reality. . .My inspiration. . .My hope. . .It was YOU. . .You were the one who inspired me to write, to sing. . .My every piece of music describes you. . .I am sorry too Sharon. I shouldn't have let you break US that day. . .I am sorry" Swayam cried with her cupping her face.
He pulled Sharon in his arms and they both lived the moment finally they have craved for since last three years. . .The sea waves producing the only sound soothing their soul. . .They pulled out of the hug and smiled looking at each other.
"Thank God I saw your stupid old car while coming out of the pub." Swayam said and chuckled.
Sharon smiled looking at him.
"If I ask anything will you give me?"
"Even if that costs my life"Swayam replied kissing her forhead.
"I am craving to hear those three words"
"Sharon. . .I. . ."Swayam was saying when Sharon stopped him putting her finger on his lips.
"Sing them to me"She said and Swayam smiled surprised with her words and he took her in her embrace.
"Hello. . .Is it me you looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're all I ever wanted
And my arms are open wide
cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much
I love You. . ."
"I love you too. . .I love you too"Sharon declared too choked with happiness.
Swayam stopped and looked at teary eyed and yet smiling Sharon and captured her lips and kissed her passionately.
"Lets go"Sharon said holding out her hand.
"Where???"
"To unlock your music room. . .your world of dreams beacuse I know and I promise to be your reality forever and beyond that"
Swayam gulped down the lump of emotions formed in his throat and gave his hand in hers knowing it was interwined forever.
